A.) Please don't make this argument too easy by saying composition doesn't matter. I guarantee people in your guild would even side with me on this.

B.) tank hybrid is a more appropriate definition than DPS....I would absolutely not consider a hybrid jugg wearing dps gear for a dps spot on a team nor would I a hybrid sin. Better in every way? lol

 

Yo broseph.... dps sins aren't tanks.. most dps sins that run rateds on this server run full deception/infiltration, or waka's wakajinn spec.

Haven't any of you heard of bugged stats? Tell me how this statistic is possible when I've destroyed...nay...obliterated your dmg and had the correct dps amount of 11xx display.

I never said it was; I provided pics to illustrate the point that my level of play yields 1200 dps and its naive to claim 1400+ as a powertech. I think the orig. poster had an incredible game and can believe his stats completely. Both of our servers "pvp records" threads are full of a mix of legit and bugged stats. Plain and simple.

POT5 might be a joke but going from the few rated games (Casual's Alts vs MVP's Alts) from the other night Bastion players might have gotten a "reality check" http://imgur.com/yM0YjU5 .Granted some of MVP's players were undergeared as well as playing their class for the first time (in rateds) I don't think that's good enough reason for the poor performance that night. As for composition, Casual was NOT running their regular comp/a-team/balanced comp and had a sorc healer that probably has never played with us before but has gone against us many times.

I don't mean for this to be an insult to Bastion players or <Hey I'm MVP> but this goes to show you that there are other skilled players from different servers that can and will give you a run for your money. It'll be fun once the PTS opens up and Casual's A-Team can go against MVP's A-Team but until then Casual took the win that night.

i guess i would be happy too if i beat toons that prob still had somekind of recruit gear and not augmented, with no set composition. How can you call it Alts vs Alts? I'm sure all casual players have all the legacy buffs, while mvp had 1 buff per toon. Thats a good way to indicate leveled teams. Not saying they didnt get a reality check, but do think that if MVP got on their bastion toons the outcome would be the same? Hell no offense ive never seen full strenght casual play but im sure synergy , dont panic , SB, would go head to head with them and come out with a good win rate

No point beating this horse to death. We have nothing to prove and we are clearly not this scrub squad nearly everyone on Bastion thinks we are. I want to note that we have never said the members of MVP aren't talented. Any game A-Team vs A-Team I'm sure would be good to watch. Understanding all of the classes, their cooldowns, and how they need to perform to be effective is what makes a team strong. Otto and bodies realizes this and wants to keep queuing on this server with that comp. I respect that and think people should back off until they have played against us.

It was Casual's Alts vs MVP's Alts I don't think it's hard to comprehend. Both teams didn't have their toons fully geared (MVP's tanks had more tank gear than Casuals) although it looked like 1-2 players from MVP were really undergeared and obvious gear advantage towards Casual. While gear is very important, if you take the time to look at the screen shots/watch the matches gear was not the issue. Sure MVP could have ran a better comp but that goes for Casual as well.

 

As far as legacy buff's, if you go into a team fight and don't call for full buff's that's just bad play on your part. FWIW, Justbodies has 3 buff's IIRC.

 

I agree if MVP had their mains on it would definitely be different but please take into account that the team MVP played was NOT Casual's A-Team nor was it their main Comp while using a sorc healer that has never played rateds with us before.

 

As I said earlier, it'll be more fair and exciting once we have both A-Teams go against each other in the PTS.

Based of what people have told me about casual I will admit that I thought we could roll you guys no matter how unndergeared we were or what classes we were playing for the first time. I am actually relieved that this was not true because I was hoping for more than just our servers competitive guilds to q against. It's good to know there are other strong guilds out there and it makes me more excited for when the pts goes live or cross server q's and season 1. It gives me hope that others servers (even the RP servers lol) might give rateds some good competition. I'm just pissed that bioware has made us wait so long to see what else is out there.
