I see a lot of people talking about min maxing their gear, I google stat priorities and get a whole range of answers everything from stack crit and surge to stack power and ignore the rng from crit and surge. Alacrity seems good but I've noticed it doesn't do a whole lot.

 

What do you guys think as PvP healers?

When I purchased my EWH gear. I added .4 seconds on my dark heal after buying the EWH Force Mystic generator. this was due to the alacrity loss. I am currently in the process of getting the rest of the gear. To see if it offsets the loss at all. Alacrity reduced my dark heals to 1.9 secs. Lightning fast compared to the amount it can heal. I definitely didn't see any major addition of HP to the heal from the new offhand generator. So in my experience as a healer it played an important role. Definitely miss my shorter cast times especially in PvP where the half second could mean The difference in a win.
