i am new to this game and i was looking around and seen that you can get -10000 affection with a companion. so that got me thinking. why would i want to get -10000 affection with my companion? does something happen when you do get it? so i started to look it up and i can not find anything that tells me what happens. i can see trying to get that with Vette or Khem Val seeing how they where slaves and the less affection they have to you the more of a slave they become. so can anyone tell me if anything happens when you hit -10000 affection?

You cannot get negative companion affection currently. It would be nice if you could and if it generated new dialogue triggers from them and even if it might alter quest outcomes. It could certainly be used to modify companion side quest availability.

When i first stared playing with my inquisitor i ended up with -1 affection with Khem Val. i think i said something to make him mad. so i know you can get it. but to get -10000 that would take so work.
