TheBeav
[edit] ok I checked my e-mail and it was announced on the 21st of July that the order in which you pre-order is the order in which you play, my mistake. I wish I woulda known, lol... Of course I would have pre-ordered earlier if I had known I would get to play earlier, look at my creation date on this account, and the fact I'm stuck in bed on disability(through my insurance not your tax dollars) anyway. I would have saved money too, cause I think the dollar was at 108 in July, lol. I'm frustrated, but I'm filling my time, got the book that's supposed to go before this game, it's not bad (Star Wars: The Old Republic, Fatal Alliance). It is really hurting the whole launch experience for me, to be honest. But your biggest mistake? Letting everyone play the beta and getting them addicting and then saying "now wait to play, but you can watch other people play". And doing it right before Christmas! You gotta do something, some kind of estimate or SOMETHING to stop 500,000 people from checking their e-mail every wave, opening it like a present on Christmas Eve, only to find their inbox empty, or full of coal (aka viagra spam). You are causing quite a lot of disappointment every day as far as I have read by all the posts, don't make them call you the Grinch! LOL! Smarf
It was announced on November 4th that Early Access would be staggered, and that not all pre-orders would get the same amount of Early Game Access. Before that, everyone assumed everyone was getting the same amount of Early Game Access, this is a fact. Wrong. It was stated on July 21st, the day the game was first available for pre-order, that your early access time would be based on when you redeemed your pre-order code. You can still cancel now, and really show them you're serious about this. Else you're just whining. You need to take a firm stance to be taken seriously. If you can get 500 000 people to share your view, and cancel their pre-orders with you, that'll definitely help. TheBeav
Wrong. It was stated on July 21st, the day the game was first available for pre-order, that your early access time would be based on when you redeemed your pre-order code. Where was that stated? On their front page? On the pre-order page when you went to buy it?
Noirmorris
The fact is that they added the sentence "MAY GRANT" only recently. That's the only thing that matter bout professional etic. Nothing more. And everyone at BW knew that adding "MAY GRANT" from 21st July could have reduce number of preorders. Cmon, haters are stupid but we can't deny truth. TheBeav
here's the text of the e-mail I received on July 21st: Pre-order bonuses: Early Game Access- create your character and explore the universe first Nothing at all about how long the Early Game Access is even... Oh ****... The order in which you purchase and redeem your Pre-Order Code is the order in which you will gain early access to the game, prior to official launch day. I am mistaken, editing my first post, I should have read that e-mail better.... lol... Unless they somehow managed to change the html in the e-mail? lol... Dhor
Where was that stated? On their front page? On the pre-order page when you went to buy it? I don't remember where, but I do remember seeing it before I went to buy it. It was what prompted me to order it on day one. Otherwise I would have waited.
