I don't know what it's like on your server but on my server imp genchat is just a long string of r a p e jokes, because apparently that's hilarious or something. Or people replacing words in movie titles with "Jawa". That meme wasn't funny back in WOW when it was Murlocks and it's even less so now. Occasionally they get off on a tangent and talk about bacon. Because everyone on my server freaking loves to talk about bacon. I honestly don't feel like making a comic about that. It's a little too depressing.

 

At lest pub side genchat people there's Jonnymaddog or people complaining about Jonnymaddog, or people debating if jonny is a troll or not. Either way, it's an improvement.

On Beregen Colony, most of the chat DK and Korriban is Jawas and r a p e. Later planets have more conversation. I usually just keep to guild chat.

Here's a work flow of an up coming comic. In case any of you were wondering how I make my comics. Everything is done in Easy Paint Tool SAI. I kind of got carried away when painting in the background and forgot to take screen shots of the steps so there's a bit of a gap. O well.

I'll continue this comic so long as I have the time and interest to do so. Ideally I'd like to continue it to the conclusion of both the warrior and agent class story lines. At the pace I'm going it's going to take awhile. I have a finalized scrip up to comic 71 and that's only just starting Gratham and the Revanites story lines.

I have some really funny jokes planned for chapter 2 and beyond (cus there's a lot of great material to work with there) so I want to get to that point but that's a long ways off.

I spend a lot of time painting backgrounds and some times you guys don't get to see much of them because of word bubbles and what not. For example, I spent a lot of time on that damn battle cruiser (4th row down) but you don't get to see much of it in the finished strip. So I'm making you guys look at my backgrounds because I can.

Occasionally I do draw SWTOR stuff that's not specifically related to the comic. I did the below head shots of Salih and Kaliyo back in January when I was just starting out with this comic. I had intended to do one of Mendiloquence and Vette as well but I got distracted, likely by something shiny.

The below picture is a group shot of all my max lv characters at lv 50. It took me so long to finish this picture that by the time I finished it most of them had different outfits. I blame armor dyes. Some day I'll get around to doing another picture with all my lv 55 toons. In case any one was wondering, yes that is Salih on the end.

Those backgrounds are really well done.

And I love the Sith lady on the left sticking her saber in the (is she a Bounty Hunter?) other character's face. Especially the facial expression of the one getting it shoved in her face.

Due to the fact that I can't make the comics fast enough I'm going to have to cut back to one comic a week. Over the past few months some things have come up which slowed me down. Battling some art burn out, a wedding (not my own but it took a week of prep work to get ready for), and protecting my great nation's infrastructure from terrorist threats.

If I can get a large enough buffer built up I will go back to two updates a week but I really can't say if or when that will be. In the mean time you can check back Monday for the next Comic
