The sith holocrons have always been pyramids... here is a list of all pyramids holocrons... not anyone of them are cubs... so why did Bioware change that? A handful of the listed known Sith holocrons are different shapes, including a rounded cube and the weird thing above. It's tradition, not a rule, even in canon. Even if you come out with 1 or 2... you might consider that from like 30 known, 2 are not pyramids... and the 2 that already appeared on swtor are not as well ?
