Daniellcarlson
what stat for treek is for tanking? str and end? and for healing is aim and end? correct?
Hoshkar
Thought Treek's main stat was Aim, from 10-55, around 30s you start stacking stuff like Defense > Absorption > Shield > Endurance if you want her to tank, and Surge> Alacrity > Crit > Power if you want her to heal. Essence_of_Light
Like stated before Treek's main stat is Aim, for both Tanking & Healing.
Daniellcarlson
why 2 sets of gear then when you first get treek?
Essence_of_Light
why 2 sets of gear then when you first get treek? The gear may have different secondary stats, but the main stat (Aim) remains the same.
Fazaani
As on any char: main stat is the same all the way. Difference is in how much to have vs endurance and how do you manage ur secondary stats like pvr, crit and so on... (HK-51 is a little different since he has aim and cunning both as mainstat)
Sorei
why 2 sets of gear then when you first get treek? It's either because they wanted to offer you the possibility of having two sets of gear for both specs for her which look identical to each other or they simply wanted to avoid the bug happening again where the companion sometimes came without gear (as it happened with HK). I think it's the latter because the second set of gear should include a generator (as opposed to the shield generator) otherwise. As for the point of having two sets of gear in general, others have already said this, but: While she always uses aim, tank gear should include secondary stats like defense, absorb and shield rating (and preferably endurance heavy armorings), while healer gear should include secondary stats such as power, surge, crit and armorings which are main stats heavy (meaning aim). As she is a companion and probably only to be used for dailies or leveling, you don't necessarily need two different sets of gear, though.
