mourasantos
So apparently the newest NVIDIA driver supports Ambient Occlusion for SWTOR. Could anyone who's downloaded it show me what this means for the actual game by providing some pics? Thanks in advance.
Slurmez
It means almost everyone has to suffer performance because they cant code properly and dont know what they are doing, its why they had to take out most of the settings for launch and have no AA which was ridiculous for a 2011 game, let alone the one with the largest development budget ever. mourasantos
Wait, Bioware didn't come up with this, Nvidia did...right?
Foobert
AO won't do anything if you have shadows turned off anyway, and I'd bet you wouldn't see much difference with low quality shadows either. I have a feeling that when EA "redid" shadows they were doing it for the new driver. Edited October 12, 2012 by Foobert
Carambole
Yeah I was wondering where the lightorama "bugs" where coming from. The 3.0.6 drivers. I had to downgrade to previous drivers in order for this to stop.
itsmymillertime
Bioware said to turn AO off to improve performance, so I would turn it off if your fps suffer.
