Hi. I'm a new player/subscriber, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the Hutt Cartel expansion?

 

I'm only level 20, so I was wondering: Are there any benefits for those that are under level 50? Or is it just an expansion for those that are already max level?

generally speaking the content is meant for those at or close to 50. you could wait some before picking it up.

You won't be able to pick up the Makeb questline until around 47 I believe. If you're interested in the class stories should certainly finish them as Makeb contains spoilers.

Going to Makeb below lvl 50 isn't the most clever idea anyway, I think.

 

I don't think having bought or not having bought the expansion has an influence on you sub-lvl 50 (or 47) gaming experience. Maybe wait a little before buying it, until you are sure you really want to continue playing SWTOR. Still, as a subscriber the price of RotHC is massively reduced.

And it raises your lvl max to 55, so if u get it and finish your main story quest before u start, you can be over leveled/ max lvl before you even start RotH. (Which to me was a good thing)

^^^ This, so I'd wait until you're level 49 to buy it.

 

And if you're not done with your class quest before buying it, try to avoid clicking on your ship's holoterminal, even though it has the quest marker over it, because, yeah, spoilers.
