I want to deactivate him and remove his speech modules. Droids should be seen but not heard unless they got a message.

I'd like to have a mini-class quest to remove his vocabulator... Of course, you could put it back on if you like, in which case he continues blathering

 

I wouldn't want Bioware to shut him up permanently though, at least it should be an option.

I love dispatching T7 for missions.

There's actually this guy in Anchorhead complaining to a Jawa about a protocol droid he bought with a broken vocabulator. The Jawa actually tells the guy that it's a feature, and I'm hard pressed not to agree with the Jawa and trade C2-N2 for the guy's droid on the spot.

 

Though I'm a Knight, I see no use for another droid. T7 should be able to handle the ship just fine while me and Kira are away.

C2-N2 flys into the garbage compactor. A voice comes over the com:

 

"You have precisely 30 minutes to make me a shimmersilk purse out of the provided Bantha's ear."

There is nothing more iconic... makes me think of star wars every time I hear him. But to each his own. Bw should consider giving a /silence option to folks.

For C2-N2 isnt there a mute button built in somewhere? If not there should be.

I hate the way C2 looks. I wish there was a customization option where I could change his voice and quotes and make him look like a terminator. That or they should make it so I can send M1-4X on a mission to trash C2. It would be nice if either of these were possible.

I always send my companions out on missions when I'm doing Flashpoints. My first time ever doing the Foundry on my first Agent, my group had just brought Darth Revan down to 8k hp in the Foundry.

They were showing the trilogy last night. I was paying more attention and realized they shut him off several times in those movies because he wouldn't stop talking.

 

 

So they did a very good job of making our ship droids just as irritating as C3PO.

Every single time I hear his voice I want to violently dismantle him.

My issue is, he really doesn't fit in with most of my characters. He kinda fits with my smuggler, but for the rest of them? Nope.

I enjoy the continuous positive reinforcement and praise I receive from C2-N2. It makes me feel special.

 

I believe if everyone was as polite and gracious as that droid the world/universe would be a better place.

 

And who doesn't enjoy a tidy ship complete with new upholstery and fresh paint? My vessel ALWAYS has that "New Ship" smell thanks to C2-N2.

 

But seriously. On my Jedi Knight, I've taken to running out of my bridge and jumping over the railing to get to the door on the way out, just because I don't wanna hear him talk again when I run to the top of the staircase.

Omg please invent a mute button for C2-N2. My ship is sorta like a home I have all the conveniences. GTN, mailbox (which of course is at opposite ends of ship so I have to walk past the verbal tin can) It is like having a nagging spouse at home. Soon as I walk in the door. I want to shove him out an airlock.

I say make the escape hatch useable for that one purpose. Make it a threat since the droid is actually useful if you are crafting. Shut up or out the hatch you go.

I come back to the game 5 years later and he's still just as annoying. Is there really still no way to turn him off?
