  1. Are these legacy wide, meaning if I gather 100 classic comms on my sorcerer can my shadow using them? Also I see arkanian parts required to purchase items from the vendors, where do I get those from?
  2. I have tried 3 different guilds, all of them were quite big with over 200 members and about 12-20 active players online at a given time. They were also populated with various 55's with a good blend of roles to do fp's and ops. I have been playing this game for a couple months now and almost solely focused on story missions and a couple heroics, so I don't really know a lot about the endgame how to gear oneself up, which dailies I have to do, and basically was looking for a guild that was willing to help me and others like that in that situation while gaining a new lvl 55 who is active to their ranks. Every guild that has recruited me constantly said that they do hm/ops runs all the time and guild members will be given help to get gear and answer any questions that the would have. As soon as you join the guild they talk to you for about 2-3 min then it goes back to just ignoring you even when you just ask questions on where to start with endgame content. They do run HM's and Ops all the time but that is just with their dedicated core group of 8-12 people with their various alts. When I ask if anyone is interested in doing a 55 HM or Op story mode, I get ignored numerous times with over 20 people online, when I decide to help another guild mate who needed help on Ilum I decided to head over there. When I checked the guild roster, the core group is doing a 55 story op and others are doing hm runs when I said early on I would be interested in joining any runs if there was any planned, also ignored. Why do guilds even lie like this, I told them everything up front that I was new to endgame and instead of just leaving the game after I did my first toon story like I did last time I wanted to learn about the endgame and to eventually help other guild members out in my similar position. I have recently left the guild and am now just considering transferring servers since all my attempts at finding a friendly and decent guild has failed on the Ebon Hawk. If there is another guild out there that genuinely welcomes new player in to their ranks and even offers them an invite to run some raids and teach them a couple tips on how to handle bosses, get good gear, and play their designated role ven better would be amazing. If there is a guild like this that is truly genuine and not just looking to get another 55 that they can use whenever they feel like it and ignore the rest of the time please respond to me in this forum. This is my last attempt to stay in this game that I really love. I am a Master Craftsman, and am most active currently on the Republic side on my Shadow. I will be looking to gear my Sith toons after so I would welcome guild offers from both sides. Thanks TL;DR- Guilds constantly offer false promises when recruiting members only to ignore and not help with questions or endgame gearing for a guild that is focused as such. They stay in their own bubble of friends and refuse to let others in. Looking for a friendly guild that focuses on endgame pve/gearing and are helpful and not just run with their own established clique. Have both Pub and Imp toons and looking for guild offer if available from both sides. Thanks
  3. I agree with you OP this game does have hard space missions. The earlier ones are doable then the difficulty gets ramped up, so lately I haven't bothered to do it with my alts while lvling now. Seriously none of them have any ship upgrades and haven't done and won't do the space missions. Most people in this thread and game seems to get off being elitist and claiming it was easy for them so just ignore them. I say just skip them and don't give it another thought you can make up xp for them with flashpoints or just picking up extra side missions. Space missions, cartel market and the endgame in this game is the major flaws so enjoy the class story lines and then unsub, lol.
  4. Cool, thanks Khevar you really laid it all out nicely. Appreciate it
  5. I have mastered artifice and synthweaving on my toons and can craft all artifact hilts up until lvl 53. I see people selling hilts and enhancements that are lvl 55. How do I unlock those crafts?
  6. The game is free to download but since you brought it I think it gives you a 30 day subscription.
  7. I missed the one they had going around the time they released the expansion. I have started a couple alts and was wondering if they are going to do another double xp weekend? Saw in chat that there was to be one in June but the user wouldn't reply when I asked him when. I tried googling it before posting but couldn't find any info except for the last one that already passed. Can someone clarify if there will be one or not and if there is when will it be held. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the info. I really don't pvp so that's not a n issue it's all pve for me. I have played a couple mmos but never stuck with one for long. I did WOW (3-4 months), Tera (2 mths), GW2 (2mths), and SWTOR (4 mths with a long break in between). I have no idea how mmo gamers can do combat with just using the keyboard and not having to look down to see which key you press, there are too many moves for me to get a hang of. I strictly use my mouse to press every attack but do use keyboard to target. This method has made me pretty much suck at pvp so I gave up on that. But I am interested in pursuing scoundrel since you said that it has some melee in it, the cover system mostly pops me in to cover where I can't see my target and have to move and get blasted by the enemy that is what irritates me. Maybe this class isn't for me and my game style, but am still going to give it a go until around lvl 15 and see how I feel about it then. Thanks again!
  9. Hi guys, I am not new to SWTOR but this is my first range class that I am trying to attempt. I played a Jedi Sentinel and Sith Juggernaut as my previous characters all the way through to 50. I tried out Smuggler today to experience the story and was completely taken aback by the combat system. I played my previous 2 warriors with very little to no mobility other than when needed against AOE damage. I am having trouble getting a grasp of the cover system and to basically always set up for a fight other than to just charge in and dominate. Any tips to combat would be appreciated, and what class to specialize as scoundrel or gunslinger? Thanks for any help that you can offer.
  10. There should be a little button around your mini-map that will let you exit the instance.
