  1. Thanks for explaining this to people who don't understand that legacy gear is already in the game. The only thing this change would make for people like me who already use legacy gear on mirror classes between the 2 factions is: 1- I would no longer look terrible in my legacy gear 2- The game would bring in more money because many of us would pay for the unlock to make the items we want transferable within our legacy
  2. I completely support this idea. Those of us who play mirror classes in the 2 factions have to use the generally unattractive BoL sets in order to share mods. Please give us an option of some kind to make the much nicer looking gear that is in the game BoL. I will very happily pay something to make this happen on the gear I actually want to use.   3. This thread has become a bit twisted, but I 110% support the OPs actual idea here: Please please please give us the ability to make gear in the game Bind On Legacy. I play mirror classes in the 2 factions and can't believe the terrible looking legacy gear is all I can use to transfer mods between characters. The BoL concept is so great for people who play a number of characters, but the gear itself is not attractive. I would VERY happily pay cartel coins to have the ability to make nice looking sets transferable between my mirror class characters. Thanks very much
  4. I have played 15 characters thru to 55 to date and will have 2 or 3 more at 55 by the time 3.0 becomes available. Obviously I've enjoyed the leveling process in the game. With that said, I won't level another character without the 12x xp available to me. I understand the argument for making new players make the climb to 55 more slowly so they learn how to play, but there really should be an alternative to allow people who have played the game for some time to progress much quicker.

  6. I recently had a character move over to a new server to check it out and am VERY confused about what is going on with the decorations my legacy has across the 2 servers. I had 2 Dreadful Thrones, for example, when I moved to the new server. Those show up as being available for use to my character on the new server even though they are already placed in a stronghold on the old server. But when I unlocked a third Dreadful Throne on the new server I am now shown: 0/2 Dreadful Thrones available on my original server (as mentioned, I have 2 of them placed - my point is the 3rd Throne isn't showing up) 3/3 Dreadful Thrones available on my new server Should I not have 3 thrones available now on both servers? This was an expensive purchase and I really would like to get access to that 3rd throne on my original sever. Thanks

  8. 1 more vote for not having companions become holoimages. I'd actually prefer the companions not be there at all when I'm not on the character who has them rather than having them show up in holo form. That just looks silly to me. Thanks
  9. I would not say that RP is dead on this server unless you're in a guild, but it's not overly prevalent either. I would highly recommend that you join a guild with a RP emphasis if that is important to you.

  11. Thanks for the input Cleet - some interesting info to chew on there. And yes, I'm definitely familiar with the primary stat for each companion. I was looking for some specifics on secondary priorities. Here is what I'm working toward right now: Zenith: Accuracy - crit/surge - power Nadia: Accuracy - crit/surge - power Tharan: Power - crit/surge - alacrity (I've read alacrity is not a big boost for him) Qyzen/Iresso: Absorption - shield - defense (placing it 3rd based on Cleet's comments above) If anyone sees things differently I'd appreciate hearing about it.   12. After Cunning, what gear stat bonuses should I be looking to boost on Zenith? I've not played a sniper and am not 100% sure what will help him the most. I mostly use Nadia and HK, but I'd like to mix it up with all my companions while doing dailies. Advice on any other companion's gearing would be appreciated if you're inclined to give it. Thanks
  13. Thanks for the input. I'm trying to decide just how much I want to spend on lvl 27 items and how much I want to save to see what happens with gear when Rise of the Hutt Cartel launches.....
  14. I've played since launch but have finally decided that the character who hit 50 today is going to be my main. Thanks to the fact I've never really spent any credits and some nice luck in the cartel market I have several million available to me along with a fair number of molecular stabilizers. I have my Recruit armor and am perusing the Tionese gear, but now I'm wondering what makes the most sense to seriously gear up from a credits standpoint. - I'm planning to do hardmode FPs of course, and hope to get into Operations. Level 27 armoring/mods/enhancements have substantially higher mats costs than level 26. Should I aim for a full set of level 26 gear and plan to get level 27 down the line, or does it make more sense to just go for level 27 stuff off the bat on a smaller selection of gear (i.e. the key armor spots head/chest/legs)? Is the difference very noticeable during hardmode FPs and Operations (or even storymode Ops - I've never done one before)? - Is it essential to have armoring/mod/enhancement match up at the same level? Or would level 27 armoring and level 26 mods/enhancements be a valid route to aim for? - Thoughts on how Rise of the Hutt Cartel should play into my decision? I haven't seen anything confirming if new level 28 gear will be involved. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I understand the game up to level 50 well but am very much wet behind the ears at endgame. Thanks
