  1. I have similiar issues, AMD Radeon HD 7950 / AMD Phenom II X6 3.2Ghz / 10GB DDR3 / Windows 7 64-bit. I'm getting about 15 fps in Warzones and 30+ everywhere else in the game. Running the game on very high right down to very low makes absolutely no difference i remain at 15 fps with my GPU and CPU usage both around 20%. Every other game I play runs fine on Maximum graphical settings so I don't understand how people can be saying this isn't an issue on Biowares end. I've reinstalled multple times tried different SSD's, Overclocked everything to the max, updated drivers etc I've actually tried to contact Customer Service about this issue around 7 times over the last year or so, and i've never received a helpful response. I've posted on the Customer Service forum and recieved no reply, called the phone support number and was told to post an in-game ticket and then posted an in-game ticket and was told to post on the forums - they just sent me round in circles with generic replies. I'm not even asking them to admit there is compatibility issues with the game, I have just been asking them what hardware I should upgrade to increase my FPS as I am a warzone junky and 15 FPS is basically unplayable. TLDR - It's a known issue, i've tried to contact Bioware multiple times about it and received no response all i can suggest is using Swtor Unleashed as it seems to help my FPS to some degree.
  2. Well PVE isn't competitive, who the hell cares if a class is doing a little bit too much or too little DPS in PVE? It's PVE, a five year old could play through it. Balance actually matters in PVP so if a class is over-performing then damn right they should nerf them because at the end of the day reducing the damage on an ability by 10% makes absolutely no difference in PVE but can make the world of difference in PVP. Also, stop whining, go back to roleplaying your story missions or whatever it is PVE carebears do.
  3. Why is Bolster so unintuitive? a new player would assume it bolsters their character up to a level where they can atleast be competetive in pvp, but it turns out you need to wear specific gear in order to obtain the bonuses? What is bioware thinking?
  4. So i got full 162 and gained 100 expertise and lost 5k health, doesn't seem to make much of a difference at all.
  5. What am I supposed to do to gear up? I'm in full 186 PVE gear, pretty much 100% of the time I join a warzone half of the team leaves with some sort of "lol 186 pve gear bye" message. I'm playing healing merc and even if I blow every single cooldown I have against a shadow opening on me I still get dropped in about 10 seconds - that's including Kolto Overload, Energy Shield, Warzone Medpacks, Power Surge etc. Am i just supposed to spam queue warzones and get owned every day for a week in order to stand a chance? In other games you can get the basic PVP gear through other means so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. Is there any sort of feature in Swtor that would let me convert basic or elite comms into warzone comms? because right now I feel like i'm less than useless even if I try, and so i've just resorted to more or less AFKing every warzone because it makes no difference if i actually try or not, and it's just not fun.
  6. Sorry but out of all the things the game needs in terms of new content and bug fixes, i can't see this ever being implemented. The amount of resources Bioware has left dedicated to this game is absolutely tiny - it's taken them around 2 months to add two hard mode versions of flashpoints that were already in the game and call it a major content patch. Also in reality it wouldn't work out well, if this "wisdom" system your talking about had any sort of positive effect on your character it would be abused and cheated as it would be required for end-game pvp and operations if you wanted a chance at being competitive. This would lead to people creating secondary accounts and becoming their own apprentice to power-level wisdom, or offering credits to newbies to help boost their wisdom etc etc, the list goes on.
  7. Sorry but if you are honestly trying to say that SWTOR is better than SWG, Pre or Post CU, you must be in denial. The whole "if you don't like it stop paying for it" thing is getting old, it's been going around since release, but at the end of the day any star wars fan is going to want to play this game, regardless of how bad it is, Ever stop to wonder why you get so much rage and complaining everyday on these forums? I wish this game was good, but unfortunately it's not, so i'm just going to resub every so often to swing a lightsaber around and get my fix then leave.
  8. Just started Shadow of Revan on my Scoundrel and his voice has changed quite drastically, really unprofessional, especially considering the only half decent thing about this game is the fully voiced story. It feels like i'm playing a different character.
  9. All i'm saying is i've been playing for 6 hours today and only won 4 games. Most of the time when I join a game it's halfway through and republic are getting stomped, so everyone insta-leaves, which obviously helps the imperials further. I was healing for the first hour or two, reaching 500k+ healing as an average. But literally lost every single game. Had one voidstar where I got 570k healing but republic only got 4 kills, it seems they don't know how to focus a healer. Switched to DPS a couple of hours ago and have been top damage by about 200k more damage than the second highest damage on my team. I don't understand how I can get 300-400k damage in a huttball WHILE focusing on the ball the entire time - killing the ball handler is my main job as a scrapper scoundrel. But then the rest of my team only get between 90-120k damage IN A 15 MINUTE GAME ... HOW? BADS - Are you just spamming auto-attack? Seriously? Overall, while I understand damage and healing numbers isn't everything, I don't understand how republic on ToFN can be so bad.
  10. Close to tears dril. Oh and i'm currently in a voidstar, we are actually winning, I'm not sure if i'm dreaming or....
  11. Been PVPing for the past 3 hours, joined around 18, atleast 12 of them were half way through losing flawlessly to Imps so i left. The other 6 i was in from the start, but lost 5 of them without scoring any objectives and won an alderaan by a sliver. Am I the only one getting this issue? Is this a republic thing? or am I just unlucky? I'm not going to sit in a game in which we are getting spawn camped 100-0 for about 10 minutes then get 40 comms for it. INB4 "LOL UR BAD L2P" - Shut up, stop trolling the forums because you suck at actually playing the game.
  12. Then you are playing against good Operatives, or you are bad.
  13. I play Scoundrel with 1139 EXP and can't even kill a sage in that amount of time. 5-6 seconds maybe, but you need to get lucky with Sucker Punch procs and crits. Targets in medium-heavy armour are almost impossible to burst down unless they are on their own.

    Question for Imps

bump - this is not a troll post - I'm actually wondering if Imps ever go up against teams of 4 Sages, 2 Shadows and 2 Vanguards or any other combination of OP huttball classes. It seems Imperials always have the upper hand as some of the most played classes on Rebs are commando and scoundrel (2 of the most useless huttball classes)
