  1. The thing is, that's exactly what's happening now. KotFE is taking us down a path that sees us creating a new power base that I'm assuming is going to end up being strong enough to take down the Eternal Empire while Acina sits in the Arcanum polishing her relics. Once that's been achieved what Sith is going to deny us being the strongest?
  2. I'm talking from a KotFE and Sith Inquisitor perspective so spoilers for both. As far as I'm aware, after the attack by the Eternal Empire all members of the Dark Council were either killed or disappeared except for Darth Acina who then declared herself Empress. However, despite how it sounds during her conversation with the character during the Seeds of Rage mission, the character became a member of the Dark Council first and so has seniority, right? Well now I'm back and gathering my forces on Odessen. So surely my character is the rightful Sith Emperor, yes? If this is the case then at some point down the KotFE line the story for Sith Inquisitors must diverge to some degree as this can't be ignored. Surely I'll at least get the chance to turn down the throne because I'm too busy running round the galaxy doing heroics... Unless Marr comes back from the dead of course.
  3. Contact Jaynaway (imp) in-game. Cheers
  4. Yeah. I had that in-game but in the browser window they were still there.
  5. Same here for my Sorc. It's been Allies No More all the way through. In fact since I've only taken one character through I didn't even know it was supposed to change. Looks like I'll never get to see it because KotFE for me is a single character experience.
  6. At first I thought this was a great idea but if they did this what would be the point of the influence grind? I have Lana and Akk Dog about half way but with companions the way they are I can't see any point other than my OCD of progressing them any further. If I had an easy mode toggle I definitely wouldn't bother buying any more muja fruit.
  7. Hi, I'm constantly getting disconnected from the game, like every few minutes. I've raised a ticket but I want to do a few pings and tracerts to see if I can see a pattern. Can anyone confirm that the IP of the Progenitor is still 159.153.72.252 as per this post: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=498597#67 Cheers
  8. The thing that most surprised me has to be the missing pants and lower robes on all my companions. What on earth were they all up to while I was installing 4.0?
  9. On the bridge of my imp guild ship I have numerous consoles and computers and it'd be nice to have lots of crew to operate them. Currently I have medics, guards, grenadiers and various civilians doing the job but it doesn't look right so can we have imperial officer/crewman/crewwoman please. And a pub equivalent too, I guess. Cheers
  10. Not wishing to hijack this thread but I'm looking for a new laptop for swtor. What do you guys think of this one : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00YC5567G?me=&ref=olp_product_details
  11. This is brilliant. Currently my level 60 characters stomp Oricon, Cz and Makeb and then roflstomp Black Hole and Section X. Then it's... Hmm, back to Oricon. But watching the livestream we're going to get a heroic terminal that transports you directly to the heroic without having to wade through any trash whatsoever. And it's all of the heroics on each planet. Fantastic. It looked to me like Eric was having no problems at all soloing Friends of Old but I read in another thread someone say something like "Yeah but what about Voss. I bet those heroics wouldn't be so easy. " But isn't that the point? If I'm understanding it correctly I will now have the choice of stomping all the Dromund Kaas heroics, doing easy heroics on Tatooine, doing challenging heroics on Voss or trying to do the Oricon heroic and getting pounded and therefore having the incentive to gear up. Choice. What's not to love about that? One question for Eric though. After completing a heroic obtained from the heroic terminal would you be able to transport directly back to the fleet? Maybe the fleet pass cooldown finishes or something. If not then I guess the flow would be Heroic terminal > do heroic > stronghold > fleet > repeat. Not quite as sexy but hey. Cheers
  12. How about we have a new boss called Goldah that randomly spawns anywhere and at any time. Then, once it's defeated it drops 1 credit. That way at least we can earn the single credit and have some fun while we're at it.
  13. When the stronghold decorator tells you that picking up all decorations in the room may pick up some decorations in adjacent rooms it's really not kidding. I picked up everything in one of my upstairs rooms in my Tatooine stronghold and it picked up everything from ALL rooms. Then I did the same in the courtyard bit and it picked up everything outside. Everything. I was just left with my starship in the hangar. So for rooms read inside and outside.
  14. Not at all. The thing that got me thinking in the first place was that I was really looking forward to playing KotFE with my Sorc and I was wondering if we would not only get the chance of refusing the offer and defeating Valkorian but whether there would be the possibility for our character to actually take over as Emperor. I mean, my Sorc is already a member of the Dark Council so usurping Valkorian and taking over is only a step away. How awesome would that be. And then I thought that if this was a possibility in the story to come then that would be equally awesome to play something like that with a Jedi character. Ultra LS finally being turned to the DS by the lure of ultimate power? Obviously I don't know if this is where the story will take us but the possibility had me eager to play. But when I thought about the possibilities for my non-force characters the difference kind of jumped out at me. But I do take the points that some of you made about the importance of non-force users in an empire. It just seems that the potential endpoints are so different.
