  1. While it is thought to be possible, it has yet to be proven done.
  2. No you cannot craft it any further. Crafted gear is at best on par with tionese gear at the given time unfortunately.
  3. Bioware as provided no information at all about crafting.
  4. Most MMO can claim something similar to that on launch, esp with such a big name-Check there numbers in 7 months and you will have a better idea as to what the player base does/will look like.
  5. When you finish a game you stop playing it. I know everyone does this on there PC PS3 and XBOX 360 games. So you paid $75 for a game you played for a month and a half-Most games you play for two weeks for $60, do you go on there forums and complain that you have nothing left to do after beating skyrim, battlefield 3, mass effect, dragon age, ect? If your done and you beat it, stop paying $15 a month and go play another game, when content comes out resub, get back together with your guild beat it, and then go back to something else.
  6. I support this man and everything he stands for. However.... something just doesn't feel right about being able to craft better-than raid gear and sell it, people would only need to do a raid once to be able to buy themselves a full set of gear, and a guild would only need to run a raid a few times to fully equip there crafters to fully equip them-at that point it becomes a ugly unwanted farm-fest for the materials for the raid. To solve this I suggest they drastically increase the materials available to crafters (who imo have it too hard trying to gather basic materials (and imbalanced on the way they get them.. archaeology for example I always have 1 option for corosis substance 1 for artifact fragments and 3 for power crystals ***?) and should maybe be a hair easier to get the rare ones) AND make the biometric crystals and whatever that other raid drop crafting ingredient is no longer BoP so people can gather them for there raid gear and give them to the crafter as part of the cost for creating the items.
  7. .... full champion gear stats... ~1300 .... full rakata gear stats... ~1600 (that adds up to more then what 10% expertise has to offer)
  8. try darkfall-although the small player base and skill based characters instead of level based might turn most "average" mmo gamers off.
  9. I currently have 11 days 23 hours and 27 minutes of time played on my main. I reached lvl 50 with nearly no pvp experience (and no champion gear bags at all) at 7 days 11 hours game time. I have a nearly* full set of champion gear (only missing lightsaber) with several duplicates -which I put on my companion. It took me 179 hours to reach max level. Sense then It took me another 108 hours to get a full set of pvp gear, (the lightsaber I saved commendations at purchased a centurion) But in this time I also did daylies, hardmodes, operations, crafting, bsing with friends, and some other random time wasters, Not to mention I finished the gear set before getting that play time, but that is the only one I have available to check. I achieved valor rank 36, I have a few pieces of columni gear, and my synthweaving crafted rakata gear. I daresay you are exaggerating the time it took to get gear by a tad. With the upcoming patch they aren't changing gear, they are making commendations easier to get, and champion drops rarer (bad choice imo, as centurion gear is crap) so it will be even faster to get a basic gear set, so what are you complaining about?
  10. lol@ea being able to fix bioware
  11. Not to break your heart... but from all sources the answer seems to be you wasted thousands of credits for nothing. However until bioware decides to release information as to how crafting works... anything "could" be possible.
  12. Everything in this thread is based off what players have and haven't done and proven themselves up unto this point. Unfortunately bioware decided to leave us completely in the dark as to what is and isn't possible in crafting.
  13. TBH we don't know for sure one way or another at this point-and wont until a developer tells us it is impossible or a player provides a screenshot of it. This applies for reverse engineering the items to get a T1/T2 version AND gaining a augment slot. The materials required are just difficult enough to find that it will take some time. Biometric Crystal Alloys from bosses, and (in the case of my light armor) getting lucky enough to get the 8 purple T6 silk from the 1 or (if I am REALLY lucky) 2 people I have out at any given time after luxury fabrics. If it makes you feel better, I am slowly working on attempting this =D
