  1. The Vong were simply awful, cheap and tacky. They're clearly something created by someone who only asked themselves one question; how can I just out-****** everything that's ever been seen to the point of absurdity. Extra-Galactic aliens that just ignore the Force which is supposed to be an intregal part of EXISTENCE and hop around in world ships. That's even cheaper and tackier than the Borg.
  2. I would also like to see the Duros be playable. I know that people would find the Togruta to be a appealing and colorful.
  3. You're adorable. I am spending some of my time here arguing on for the flexibility offered to players because I'm spending a little of my time playing the game. I find it enjoyable and want it to improve. You calling anyone childish is ironic. When you came out swinging with arguments about consequences, buyer's remorse and ditching the pullups you clearly gave yourself away as someone who's looking for a sense of having made important decisions by using this game and what you apparently think is "tough talk" against people who aren't using the game to feel validated. You're a loser not because your life is terrible or unimportant, you're a loser because you need your petty button presses in an imaginary game world to provide you with the sense of having made a serious decision. You clearly aren't appreciating your real-world life enough. I hope you get better.
  4. You have a problem of your own. You believe that the petty choices made here should have unnecessary and irritating consequences as choices do in real life. Are the choices you face in your day to day life so inconsequential and meaningless that you're trying to feel like your decisions here somehow have real weight? I have a job and kids and a wife and a house and other things that really matter. When I play a game I don't hope that it will be something that csuses me petty inconveniences or makes me feel like I've wasted some of my game experiences. I hope that a game will be playable, passably written and will allow me the flexibility to wrest the maximum possible amount of enjoyment from them that I can. You want difficult choices, obstacles, and wastes of time in your games because nothing in your life is meaningful enough for you and need to pretend that this is "important". That's YOUR problem.
  5. I don't think they needed 8 classes at. Really this system could be run with the basic 4 with each class having a "Mindset" switch that they could flip (with a 30 minute) cooldown that would let characters choose one of 1 to 3 types of behaviors to work with.
  6. In other words "I don't like it, I don't want it and others should be punished if they get it".
  7. I find the points about how different the ACs are to be irrelevant. 1. Need different armor? Go get some. This is a a challenge for the person who chose to switch. 2. Need to learn to play again? Go do it. This is a challenge for the person that made the switch. 3. Don't like it? Don't do it. No one's making you change your character.
  8. My highest character so far is a Shadow. Double-bladed lightsabers have always looked silly to me and I find it weird that an advanced class based off of the Consular is locked into using that instead of a single lightsaber or dual wielding.
  9. Getting new gear seems like a problem for the player that's unrelated to the argument. In WoW a tanking paladin has a completely different playstyle and armor than a healing paladin. That doesn't stop people in their tracks .
  10. It's interesting to see so many people out to oppose this suggestion despite this kind of recustomization being fairly common in other games. Like a group of anti player-choice shock troopers. I'm guessing you hate the idea of a hair stylist or some kind of appearance tab as well.
  11. Good day people. I'm a relatively new player and have been enjoying the game. I was just wondering if there's any chance that they might loosen up the way weapons are restricted in the game. As an example one day might we see a Shadow able to wield a double, single, or dual lightsabers and have all of the Shadow abilities work correctly?
