  1. I for one would like to be able to have our characters be able to divorce our companions.
  2. I wanted to bring this idea back up again. I also wanted to add the ability to divorce your companions in-order to do what I listed above. In fact I strongly would like to be able to have this option. (As of currently, I haven't played swtor in weeks mainly due to this. Pretty much all my leveling and level 50 is wasted.)
  3. I honestly like none of them, and personally I wanted player to player relationships. :< I personally feel rather irritated by all of it. I don't like the companion relationship at all. It messed up ALL my hours of playing and made it worthless.
  4. I would like it so people can. I had been talking to my boyfriend about us getting married in-game, but then he f'ed it up by marrying the in game girl character... I was rather bummed, game or not, I was really looking forward to it. these were our dedicated characters for playing with each other. Gaming is sort of the main thing we do together. I was hoping Bioware would follow up with my suggestion about player to player marriage with some different advances then for the companions . IF they come out with this opinion, player marriage, then don't let people get divorce... well there goes that hope. When asked him about playing swtors with me, I told him about the story I was mapping out and having it kind of based after our alter egos of us in the Star Wars world.... I'm still really bummed, it ruined the whole story thing I had been talking about for a long time and had going... I had made up my star wars role playing character nearly 20 years ago. So, much for our selves in the Star Wars Universe... stupid idea for me to get excited about anyway....
  5. -adding dates or times to when a guild-mates last logged or how may days it has been since they logged in on the guild roster -Quests or some sort of activity players can do that directly impacts and helps their guild out. such as quests that could help raise the guild money - more incentives for being in a guild and ways to help out a guild. guild leveling? guild "housing" or rather guild ships. mostly for encouraging players to help take care and get involve with their guilds more.
  6. The idea of guilds having a there own spaceships/small fleet/"mother ship" -includes guild banks, venders, mail box (earned with money or "tokens") -guild "fleet" battles. guild vs. guild battles, based largely like how hutt ball is, (rep vs rep. , emp vs emp, or emp vs rep) -access to flashpoints/ops and starship battle available after winning (pushing the idea that more then one guild would have access to this) -battles could take place every several hours etc. but guilds could still have access to it for a certion amount of time (like a week) -ways so more then one guild would have access to these ops/flashpoints. 3-4 guilds could have access to this instance at a time. there could be several instances of this battle per a week. a guild could only have it for two week, then wait two weeks giving others a turn, etc. -the battles could be about fighting over having a large starship, for a empire/rep mission, saving a planet, or adding more ships to a existing guild spaceship (making a small fleet) -players could "park" there ships in it these guild spaceships -players could take there ships out during space battles to help with fighting -perhaps there could be many dailies players could do to help with various areas of a space battle, encouraging players to try manning the turrets, getting in there own ship, using a one man spacecrafts part of the guild's space ship, repairs on a ship, finding more fuel, armor, etc.. maybe these quests could to help "strengthen" certain resources in a battle or before a battle (in-between guild space battles and down time) this is to help simulate the large spaceship battles in the star wars movies
  7. I would like to suggest the idea of in-game player marriages rather then to only companions. - "implication" on a players legacy tree -added bonus if you marry a companion or a another player -a type of "racial" marriage title and item (or relic) -the ability to maybe "Earn" the player marriage. such as by completing quests together, daily/weekly, etc.
  8. I don't believe in denying people the right to choose. Just because you don't want a LFG system put in does not mean you should deny other people the right for one. The only people who will use it are the people who WANT TO use a LFG system. IF you think less people will be wanting to group with you because of it, well I would say they are already stopping people to have a right to their choice to use it, I would not want to game with people who couldn't respect peoples choice, and there are a LOT of people who want this cross-server system. If you don't LIKE the system, join a GUILD. While I played WoW, I still did tons of heroics and instences with people from my server and from my guild. I would still see people LFG on wow as well. What was awesome is that I had a higher chance of people wanting to be friends, since it was more unique to see someone from my server as well using the cross -region LFG. You just have to have it so it shows what server your from. It will not matter if there is no LFG system, ether way people will still have the option to simplly spam on general or looking for group channel. All you guys are doing is denying people who want to use a LFG system from using one. In other words your trying to do, Controlling their choice and prevent people from having that option. Which is all it is and will be, another OPTION. Not the only one. Not only that but I don't think they will have a cross-region LFG for anything but warzones and flashpoints. People would still have to LFG with specific "planet side" heroics. I also have to say, it would be cool to have what they have in WoW with real ID, being able to invite your REAL ID friends over to help you do a heroic, regardless of realm they are on. p.s. - pardon any grammer, missing words, or typing mistakes. :S
  9. This shouldn't fully be a case of nerfing, rather a case of putting certain players, well geared, more abitilies or/and high level into another pvp bracket of pvpers. you'd get a decent fight as well.
  10. I love your guide. Very useful and easy reference. I just wanted to thank ya.
  11. I would also like a "pug" match making system for flashpoints. Me and my boyfriend both run dps and play together. It's really tiresome to never finding a certain roles for flashpoints. We will be typing and looking for hours and hours. Plus when we find one (example: tank, etc), we have to wait for the other role (example: healer, etc.), only for the other to leave. As for socializing: When I played WoW, I still found people via my guild that still ran "heroics" or "instances" together. However, that was easier to do at the max levels. If you have a friend or someone else who joins you on your server, and a little amount of people area having characters level "30" it's hard to find people.... Plus even with the matchmaking system for "instances" I would find people from my server at times. As for how we have gone about finding people for flashpoints/groups: I try to manually find people not just by saying "LFG" in trade or I've tried even searching "WHO" and whispering people. I've tried many ways to advertise it (example: "Looking for roles Healer and Tank to join party for Raiders" or "LF HEALER and TANk for Cademimu the good to go", and so on) on trade. And I've politely asked people, by whispering strangers from a "WHO search" that are around the level for the flashpoint, and asked with "I'm sorry to bother you, we are looking for (fill in the black for this role for this flashpoints) would you be interested at all?" Seriously it's awkward. And before someone says it, we both have tank and healer now as well we are leveling. But again, we should be able to make a dps and be able to have access to the flashpoints without waiting for hours. I STRONGLY want a match making system. It's tiresome to wait or never finding people. And seeing how people have jobs, and lives sometimes, we don't always have the time to wait that long and look. anyway, matchmaking system for flashpoints, Makes it happen please please please! >.<
