  1. Subbed players get a stipend of cartel tokens per month as well as a large amount of them when the option goes live...what exactly those tokens will be used for? No clue.
  2. Or you could just give him an Aim barrel since that's what his weapon takes anyway.
  3. I don't blame BioWare for this, I blame EA for what's wrong in this game, BW was a AAA+ studio before EA bought them and now they're trending towards mediocrity at best.
  4. First off, I'd like to apologize for my earlier comments about GW2 as they were misinformed and reactionary without anything of factual merit. You're also correct in stating that I have not played the game, but I have no interest in playing the game as it just has nothing to make me want to play it. I'm among the players of this game who are tired of the constant trolling on the forums telling people that this game sucks, is a wow clone, is a pile of steaming fail, and to spend your money on whatever new game that's coming out soon like D3, TSW, GW2, MoP, and ESO. I've played since launch and purchased the ridiculously overpriced collector's edition, then watched my friends eventually move on to other games and my guild struggle to stay active through server transfers and mass exodus to one game or another. I know this game isn't what I was hoping for, but that's not surprising as there was no way the game could have lived up to what we wanted it to be. But for all of its flaws I will still continue to play...if only for what makes SW appeal to me. I want this game to be better, but I also want the new content to be polished and as bug free as possible before it goes live. But if SWTOR goes F2P entirely, I'm out faster than you can blink.
  5. GW2 B2P = Pay to win when it's all said and done, you can claim that people buying the retail box is what's making money for the developer, but the P2W shop is where it's really happening. You're lying to yourself if you think otherwise. I'd rather pay a sub fee and earn my rewards, instead of being peer-pressured into opening my wallet to keep up with the "skilled" players who can and will pay anything to keep an edge on their competition.
  6. Indeed, there's too much nonsense already with the pay to win cash shop in kite wars 2.
  7. The fail is that they weren't specific about saying if this was for PVE schematics or for PVP, which obviously there is one as shown in prior responses. But for people who want their purple crystals to actually be useful outside of a warzone, artifice still has no way to provide that.
  8. You've obviously never heard of companies that tease information and be purposely vague to provoke interest and speculation of their product have you?
  9. Read the entire post, sorry man but it's not the class that needs improvement here. Snipers and Gunslingers are mirrors of each other, the only real difference being ability names and the type of weapons they employ. And while it's entirely possible that they could use a tweak or 2 for general quality of life improvements, they are very strong in the current PVP environment when played well. The only class that I've seen that can lazy it's way to success is pyrotech, I should know...I play one. So my advice to you is to adjust your tactics and plan of attack and you should see better results. Also, when posting a thread like this you shouldn't be surprised when other players criticize you, you signed up for it the moment you posted on a game forum.
  10. It was probably their favorite because they got to write the entire storyline without having to adhere to known SW lore, since there was nothing established about Imperial Agents in the lore. Given how amazingly good the story is for the class, I'd say it was a popular choice for the devs.
  11. Everquest 2's target heal/attack through target system would be a vast improvement here.
  12. The most effective way to lie to a person is to tell it in a way that sounds plausible to them. Until there is official word from BW/EA proving this to be a fact, it's a rumor and nothing more.
  13. I would have just left this thread alone, but you had to flex your internet muscles with this gem: If my post contained little to no substance, maybe you shouldn't have taken the time to respond to it instead of dismissing it because I disagreed with you.

    Stealth

Like the above poster stated, Snipers don't get stealth because they're granted 30-35 meter range abilities when they chose their advanced class. Operatives are limited to 4m-10m range for their skills outside of heals, rifle shots, and the standard grenade attack, this is why they are given the ability to balance them out.
  15. The most recent update to Firefox has been having issues with the most recent update to the Adobe Flash Player, they recommended rolling back to a previous version.
