  1. Seems so. While these servers are up, pinging swtor.com times out.
  2. I seem to be having issues with harbinger. Been knocked out 3 times in past 15 mins
  3. Nor does hyperinflation. TBH, there is no way to fix MMO economies. Money is always printed, and there are few ways to remove said money. It causes hyperinflation, and we see that in the GTN. Best to let things lie, there is no way to fix it, as there is no supply/demand/production curves. there is no way to regulate unless you really regulate. A cap on GTN won't work, people will just sell in game. Stopping printing money wont work, no one will play. The system as it was made it so those that want to craft can do so with a game of chance helping them gather jawa stuff, and those that wanna try and make a fortune could. But, since it would likely self regulate the price down, like any business, they complained, and the regulatory body listened. It is really no different than real life in that regard.
  4. Sorry. Ill repost in assassin forum. Thanks for info. Ive just heard that I loose force powers
  5. I'd like to use the Cathar war staff on my assassin, can I do this, or would it shut off access to f o race powers? Thanks in advance. Purple Lynx
  6. EXACTLY! In a real outbreak situation with a disease that turns you into ravening monster, you would be either quarantined until you were cured or dead or killed. With the amount of outbreak on fleet, they would likely vent the station to space. I dont mind the idea, (well I mind the rakghoul thing in principle, but that's besides the point,) i would prefer it stay on Alderaan, as Alderaan would be quarantined.
  7. I actually played in one of those, old BBS game, called Major MUD. Had set numbers of items, it was a gank fest, even tho the BBS owner said no pvp. I learned back then that unique items are great, but when it makes you a target, no thanks. Rather everyone have a chance at getting everything. Less drama, less PVP, less anger. I play games to have fun, no stress about loosing everything everytime I log in.
  8. I have 4 Cybertechs, an armstech and a artificer. I make the armourings, barrels and hilts, and then buy mods and enhancements with comms. I use crystals from collections
  9. Baldurs Gate wasnt an MMO, and was a multiplayer, with issues:) was good but not a great example
  10. Wow, as stated, a merchant is not a thief unless they actually steal from you. Here in CA for example, prices on grocery items has steadily gone up over the past few years. A gallon of milk just 2 years ago was 1.99. How its 3.99. Price of items goes up, its normal. We don't have to like it. Just live with it. Hell, Gas prices fluctuate by the whim of the gas companies, depending on so many factors, but doubtful any real need. That's wrong, imho, but I still wouldnt call them thieves, just corrupt.
  11. I think Treek is funny as hell. Get a laugh when she squeeks something. Its very anime, and i think its cute. We all have our own tastes. I agree with a lot of the speakers, Elara and her "Ill help you!" or "Hold Still" gets annoying
  12. I think OP is likely sitting back in his chair, comfortable that he has started a serious flame war, laughing at all of us:) I do not expect him to return unless this starts petering out
  13. Star Wars is termed a space opera. It is not hard sci fi at all. Babylon 5, yes, Star Trek barely. Romance is a part of life. Not directed at you, but this whole thread is absurd. No one has the right to tell someone how to dress thier character. The outfits might be skimpy but there is no naughty bits showing. Nothing truly offensive. I am more offended by some of the racial and sexist remarks in chat and on these forums. If you really hate the way the game allows people to dress to the point I've seen here, maybe you need a new game.
