I didn't change it. I guess one of the MODs thought that saying a random background character looked like SCORPIO was a spoiler. That simpleton Ghost Specter probably reported it and some sorry MOD changed it. I get that people are a little sensitive over spoilers for this movie but that is beyond absurd.

With the way companions were, this wasn't a game at all. There was not an ounce of risk or challenge. It sounds to me what you and the other whiners wanted was a movie not a game.

Railguns ARE a better weapons than missiles. The trade-off is that you can use a missile while also using your blasters. Missiles are true secondary weapons.

Another vote for Scrab on PoTF. When he is on my team I cheer and when he is only the other side I brace for a rough match.

The regens shields don't resist the burst as well as some others, but they are nearly impossible to whittle down.

My Rycer is not as highly upgraded as some, but here is what I am running Rapid Fire lasers. Heavy lasers Concussion missile Barrel roll quick charge shield regen reactor turning thrusters frequency capacitor regeneration extender This thing has excellent maneuverability, enough to hang with many scouts in a turning battle long enough to frustrate them and make them run or for someone else to bag them. The Frequency capacitor is the best damage capacitor but it does strain the power pool. I rarely find that to be a problem though. If I put full power to shields, it takes a fair amount of spike to punch through them, and the regen shields work well at resisting stray drone fire and keeping me in the fight at full strength.

Didn't know there was a records thread. Some of those are pretty impressive, but that list is far from all encompassing. I personally have blown that damage taken record out of the water. I once took just over 21,000 damage in my regen/spanner Rycer. Had a bunch of nubs trying to clean me off of B and just soaked it all. I would not be surprised if someone else has a much higher record that that either.

The only way this could be a thing is if there is a premade on the server who uses the tactic, no pug has the coordination to pull it off. If it's premade, then they are your problem. I've yet to see this happen on my server and I play an awful lot of GSF.

That fact that it isn't true is what makes it untrue. Bombers are nifty, and are great for making it a hostile environment for scouts, but gunships ruin their day. Lemme give you two pieces of advice. Stop crying and keep trying. I got my beaten like a baby seal when I first started playing, but as you work your way through and get some critical upgrades on your favored ships, it turns around. My gunship rapes bombers like nothing else and I am starting to get solid kills/damage on both of my strikes now, when before I was nothing but a flying victim in them. Man up and deal.

I smell massive butthurt in this thread. I've said it before, I'll say it again. One good gunship pilot with maxxed Ion Rail absolutely ruins bombers. I love it when I shoot the bomber, it bounces off his deployables and hits some speedy scout pilot who wasn't anywhere near the first shot. I killed the bombers shields and energy, probably blow up his deployables, and strips the shields off of a scout.

Being a bomber pilot is more about tactics than twitch. An idiot pilot putting his turrets out where they are easily spotted and destroyed by gunships will get no kills. A pilot who can give his drones a good field of fire while still being hard to pick out of the crowd will do a lot better. A pilot who can do that AND get out there and shoot some people with his blasters will do the best.
