Uh, the mod schematics are every 4 levels which is why I was looking for the odd numbered ones which would make them every 2 levels. So I can't get the schematics, I have to buy the actual mod then? Lame.

All the mod schematics I can buy from the cybertech trainer are even numbered, I assume there is a way to get the odd numbered ones? Are they random drops? Certain crew missions?

Are you forced to choose right then? Or can you wait? I'm close to finishing Act I but have no clue what to choose as my name.

So I've been getting a few Synthweaving schematics from missions that are orange and for specific classes only. My question is, can a companion that is the same class use it? I've seen one on the GTN that requires Consulars and was wondering if Kira could use it since her lightsaber and force powers indicate to me (correct me if I'm wrong) that she is a Consular. I'm going to assume they are for the player only, but I wouldn't mind someone saying that companions can wear them as well. I really want to equip my companions with all orange gear as soon as possible and just add new mods to make them better.

I'm wondering because I've been playing this game solo (except for two instances where another player and I were both waiting for the same enemy to spawn) and had little problem progressing until now. I'm a Jedi Knight and just left Nar Shaddaa at level 25 for a mining station and find myself getting destroyed by the enemy I'm facing. So I was wondering if it was possible to group up and have one or more people help me. I think I could beat him if he wasn't so damn cheap. Every single high damage attack I tried to use would fail because as soon as I went to use it he would send me flying 20 feet, so he received no damage but I now have a cooldown timer and less focus to work with. :/

Alright thanks. I'll probably stick to a normal server since I plan on playing it mostly solo. Yeah yeah I realize it pretty much defeats the purpose of an MMO.

I've never played an MMO before the Thanksgiving beta so a lot of the terms are unknown to me. Obviously RP stands for Role Play but what exactly does that mean? I read the description in the new player guide but it didn't really help. Can MMO veterans give specific examples of what people do on an RP server that they might not on a regular one?
