I got full Columi gear on my Immortal Jugg quite some time ago, and got bored waiting for my guild to catch up for HM raids, so 2-3 days ago I respecced to Vengeance. Now I had an old defenders mettle I threw some dps daily mods in that I had been saving up, and cashed in about 5 pieces of excess columi had built up. Fill in the rest with crafted dps relics, and 2 or 3 energized pieces plus tanking implants and ear, and I've been doing quite well on dps.
Of course I have no meters to back it up, but as far as "just feeling it out", it feels pretty good. Sometimes you feel like your contributing more then others, but I've run through HM flashpoints with the other dps being a brain-dead fresh 50 in all questing greens and blues, and we didn't enrage a single boss. SO I think it's safe to say that my dps was quite good to carry the other dps'er who was clearly not doing much to contribute. *Not a secret brag topic*.
That being said, I leveled as immortal, and you really lose nothing in the ways of dps there. Attack for attack you may not hit as hard, but immortal is best at making use of those hard hitting, rarely used abilities like pommel strike. Silvers drop in a flash when you can un-channeled force choke and pommel strike.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that for leveling especially, anything will work perfectly fine, and for endgame, anything will work perfectly fine.
P.S. Don't be discouraged by the word "fine", in fact, in theater "fine" is the highest praise one can receive, and "good" is mediocre.
