I agree, I loved the diversity in SWG, and I loved how when jedi was first introduced, it would take 20 non jedis to kill a jedi. That's believeable. Not this crap...

The problem with this statement though is this. Even though the exe that runs the program cannot use more than 4 gigs of ram (3.75 is what windows shows because of the hal reservations, google it) that is ONLY system memory. The gpu's show as different memory addresses. So dependant upon different setups, the exe being 32 bit is not a problem... A lot of people say that 32 bit compiled exe's are the problem, but I know for a fact, it has nothing to do with it. What has everything to do with it, is the quality of the coding. And bugs happen, no matter what.

I suggest you look up what a pebkac error is....

Like someone else said, the combat upgrade in swg killed it. It took an awesome game that had 32 professions, all unique and very fun in their own light, and then dumbed it down to 8. This was the catalyst that killed SWG. I especially enjoyed the combat medics, various other types of melee, TONS of awesome gear and items from the craftable professions... but most of all I enjoyed the non-raid groups of 20 people. THAT was uber. No other mmo has come close to that degree of epic-ness.

I'm surprised as well at the lack of 'believeable' military conduct in this.... Especially from the viewpoints of light/dark side and how they "discipline" the offenders..

Not only would it allow for fine-tuning play styles, it would allow us to be sure specials etc are working as intended. I'm a coder, I know I make mistakes, and I know I can never find all of my mistakes 100% of the time.

I wish mine would want to bed me. Oh but yes, khem does seem to attack a nearby group from time to time that nobody in the group aggro'd

lol this is the way I feel about the people in the SGR thread.. I mean really, you either, like the game, or don't like the game (because it's freakin star wars!) Not because you can't get the game tailored to you. Only 1 person of perhaps millions. Oh wait, I guess if you complain enough you'll find yourself another 10-20 people! yays!
