  1. I think its working fine. Never seen an issue with I have scoreboard hit of 13.2k registered on the scoreboard. The Killing Blow unfortunately doesn't count towards total damage done for the warzone, if you over hit on it, I believe its only the actual potion of damage done. The system must count "damage received" instead of "damage dealt". You cant receive damage while already dead. N.B. Well, with my 220ms ping I can be hard stunned through Force Camo (often lol) so being after death is not impossible either lol.
  2. When 3v4 occurs, the person that left is essentially contributing zero to all aspects. Each players contribution is then relative to that "zero" so they should get a little more. Added: 5: Players "On Fire". 3 straight RWZ wins makes the player glow with an orange and blue sparkly flame. 6: Leave Warzone Button removed
  3. Pro tip - stack 98% accuracy in Focus/Smash spec sentinel/mara. Watch how much higher your overall DPS is.
  4. EzioMessi - Remove the leave warzone button is simple genius. Love it. - 3 DC penalty is also good, as long as they can guarantee there are no false positives. What do you mean by this: 8. The ignore list now works for Ranked PvP That if someone is on ignore, then you cant be grouped with them? That's way OP.
  5. Dearest PVP community, I have a love hate relationship with the current Solo Ranked Arenas, very addictive but also makes me want to throw my keyboard across the room on occasions. Arenas and quick and more intense than Regs, and I think the game is better balanced for 4 than it is for 8. Regs are about objectives anyway so no balance issue there. The current rating system in Solo Ranked, favours teamwork which is great. For 4s this should remain - Win/Loss. Let's mix it up for next season's solo queue: Season 3 Solo Ranked Changes: 1: Remove Bolster 2: +/- Rating is now based off the following items weighted: a: Number of killing blows 5% b: Stunning/slowing/debuffing/snaring a target attacking your team mate 5% c: Medals Achieved 10% d: MVPs 5% e: Opposition now votes for their best/most threatening player 2% f: Win/Loss relative to opposition rating 10% (same as current system) g: Damage dished out relative to all others players 10% h: Healing dished out compared to all other players 10% i: Protection dished out compared to all other players 10% j: Number of skills executed in the round (how many buttons did you press) relative to all other players, in combat. 10% k: Breadth of skills used. 3% l: Damage taken relative to all other players 10% m: Open to suggestions. 5% n: Open to suggestions. 5% 3: Leaderboards now show and can sort by guild name. 4: Killing Blow damage now counts in a players total damage. 5: Players "On Fire". 3 straight RWZ wins makes the player glow with an orange and blue sparkly flame. 6: Leave Warzone Button removed - Regarding j and k - you can get roflstompzerged and hit no skills and you get a negative rating. Get roflstompzerged but hit a least a few skills Defensive or roll, etc, still get something for it. If you hit every skill available to you, that is ideal - Regarding Bolster, ranked warzones are supposed to be for those who take it a little more seriously. Knowing which gear is required to perform well is an art form and deserves to be rewarded. Obviously the percentages would need to be tested and tweaked, and some classess/specs may have a clear advantage here, but that has always been the case with pvp. Knowing which spec best helps you to perform well in a RWZ is also an art form. This could help deal with the biggest gripe about solo ranked, that your performance rating is dependent on the team and only 1/4 your actual performance. Just trying to float some ideas and happy to hear tweaks and suggestion. Some of these may not be mathematically possible or programmable of course. Thanks for reading.
  6. I am in Darwin and have 220ms ping on Fibre. There are other East Coast Aussies on between 100-300ms, but still manage to lead the server in ranked PVP. Yes I think **** happens in the Pacific and can affect ping and occasionally get lag spikes, but its not a show stopper. IF you are ultra competitive in PVP, probably best not to move.
  7. Team work wins. Having great players in your team also wins. I look at the top 100 solo ranked on Bastion and they are almost all good players. Solo rating says something.
  8. Thanks all. Yup, atm I'm definitely feeling being caught in lower bracket and watching friends and guildies on other matches But nevermind - ill crawl out of this hole one day and try to play more solidly. Watchman with fortitude stim ftw! n.b. 4s is hard, love it, but scared.
  9. Thanks. Combat takes more awareness and when tired, it's easier to lazily tunnel the ID'd target. It's is a common problem, true. Other times i tunnel a guarded healer coz the other team mates are just letting them free heal. Popping all defensive CDs is a panic response to 3 or 4 focus when camo is done. but yeah I have hit me adrenal cloak ward really quick when under pressure and will try working on this. Finally am gonna hide more. Not gonna be first one in anymore.
  10. Yes. The Bastion, Sentinel. Maybe Elo is working as intended and I should find a new hobby.
  11. Question. 58 wins 58 losses, yet at around 1023 rating. What is going wrong? I'm not a great player by any stretch of the imagination. But I seem to be going backwards in ranking and don't get why. When I win I get +8-12. When I lose I seem to always be getting -13 -14. While I get the elo and matching, I still seem to lose more rating than winning even when I know the people on the other side have hundreds of points higher rating than me and team mates. I would expect on average 58 wins and 58 losses would equate to around 1200 rating. Some notes: - I hit every mvther f skill I have. Really - all defensive CDs, on time, all damage abilities, you name it. - I try to peel for heals when I can. - 50% of the time I top 1000 DPS, and often top 1300 DPS for the whole match. This is no lie. - I am annoyingly, often the first one targetted - focussed yet still manage to top DPS for the team, 8 medals and numerous killing blows. and still get hit with -13. - I do tend to die easily with no heals, but 90% of the time taking a good 40k damage before I do. - I am on 220ms ping. - I am often the last man standing and can win rounds 1v1... sometimes. - At the start of season 2 I had a shocking run of DCs, green pve geared players queueing and my own mistakes. - This rating is embarrassing and seems to be holding me at a lower bracket and I don't get many if any pops with guildies. What is keeping my rating down? Is it deaths? Is it just lack of skill?
  12. Grats on taking position 1 and 2 on the leaderboard Chyms. Yup - top sent and top mara on the server. Can you post some vids on "how to play ranked combat" for the rest of us now please. kthanx
  13. Would it make it insanely OP? No. Sure it would suck to be on the receiving end of that. Zen/berserk with procs up and unstoppable would probably hit around 30k-35k. That not insanely OP, not like you can do that every 30 seconds, it would still be rare.
  14. Lawl Smash is still the biggest deepos spec. Valorous call, zen, leap, sweep, exhaustion, master strike, zealous leap sweep, dead. 2k, 8k, 8k, 15k, 4k, 8k - all done in 8 seconds of engagement. Slash slash slash zen leap sweep. 4k, 4k, 4k, 8k. Rinse, repeat. Nothing has changed except Sweep hits more often than it used to.
