So you're saying that the BH equivalent of the daily commendation vendor Rakata implant/ EP's have been confirmed? Also, I should have asked this. If the BH equivalent is available in 2.0, are they bind on equip or pickup? Right now I have 2 or 3 old 50's with daily comm's burning holes in their pockets. Nothing to spend them on. I could buy Rakata implants and EP's for my new 50's. If the 2.0 implants/ EP's are BoP, then I think I would rather spend the comm's now.

Greetings all, I'll admit to being pretty confused by all the upcoming changes. I think I have wrapped my brain around most of the commendation conversions/limits etc... I'm trying to spend my remaining daily commendations sensibly and could use some advice for those who have played on the test server. What about the Rakata implants and earpieces that can be purchased from daily vendors? I've been looking at a few sites that list the upcoming changes and new vendor offerings. But I didn't see any implants/ear pieces listed. The current Rakata implants and EP's offered by the daily vendors give a pretty large boost to stats at an affordable price for fresh 50's. But I don't see anything comparable listed for the new commendation system. I have several fresh 50's I worked on during the double exp weekends. My question is this: Would you advise me to spend my daily commendations of my older richer alts to buy some Rakata implants and EP's for these fresh 50's? Or is there going to be a classic commendation vendor equivalent that I'm not aware of? Also, is there any word on a free set, similar to the free Tionese set, in 2.0 for new 50's? And if so will it be retroactive for old 50's? Thank you for your time.

Because it offends their sense of righteousness. They simply MUST interfere. You can imagine what they are like in the real world... I simply hope there is someone in real life to constantly nag them about things like not taking the elevator when there are perfectly good stairs available.

Well, regardless of likelihood, I still choose CRC rep. Grey Helix parts are easy to get even if they are limited by a time gate mechanism. CRC rep is not easy to gain. It costs very large amounts of real or game money. And because of the recent uproar among forum users about this very issue, I thought this compromise would help alleviate some of that anger and frustration. Purple parallel all.

As to trophies being traded in for Grey Helix currency... regardless of how awesome it seems, does that really seem likely? I had considered this. But since the currency is BoP and not BoL as well as the event itself being limited to specific times... I assumed TOR was set on the idea of the Gree equipment being difficult to earn. I think its pretty unlikely they are going to offer us the Gree weapons and now mount that easily. If they were feeling generous I could maybe see them offering us one Gray Helix, at champion level, in return for many trophies. But I can't imagine them ever offering 3 per purple, 2 per blue, and 1 per green or anything even close. I wouldn't oppose Grey Helix exchanges for Gree trophies at champion. But I would prefer a trade for Contraband Resale Corp rep. I already have a way to earn Grey Helix currency. I earned 4 Gree weapons during the first event on 3 alts. But considering how upset the community has been over the CRC rep issue, I figured most people would love a method to earn that without having to pay real money. I would too as I have no intention of spending a ridiculous amount of real (or game) money on opening cartel packs. So if I had to choose between rewards for surplus trophies I would choose the currency which is far more difficult to come by.

Orange bisector all, I maxed out my reputation with the Gree today and still have plenty Gree rep trophies leftover. A few purple, several blue, and many greens. Is there any possible use for these? For STO Winter events there was a console that you could use to turn old targ earmuffs and Vulcan candles and so forth into gold pressed latinum. Granted, latinum isn't that useful but it could be used to buy a few vanity items. If the Gree event, which I enjoyed very much, is going to be a regularly occurring event, I would suggest something similar. That way there is still some sort of reward for those earning those rep trophies. Perhaps even trading them in for Contraband Resale Corp rep? Even if it were for a fraction of the value of normal CRC trophies, it would still add up. If the point of CRC rep is to earn money for SWTOR... keeping people playing for trophies to exchange, thus subscribing longer, is another way to earn money and possibly good will with the customer base. Just a thought. Go in purple radiant.

On a related note, I have noticed a problem with the rest xp bonus not adding up to what is has previously in the past. I used to log off at night in a cantina/ship/fleet and the next day I would have several hours worth of rest bonus xp. I leveled 4 characters that way. The past week or two I have noticed that after logging off in a rest area for 12 hours or so I barely have enough rest bonus xp to last me one map area. Maybe an hour's worth of playtime. Maybe its just me. I created a thread about it yesterday but only one other person reported the same thing. No response yet from customer service. The rested xp bonus makes a huge difference in leveling and if there is a problem with it, then that is really going to slow you down. Also, for those who say they leveled to 50 in X amount of minutes. Could you please briefly list how you did it? All quests, space, pvp, FP's, etc...? The speed with which you accomplished it is not helpful without the strategy you used.

Also, some people in chat were arguing about whether or not rested bonus exp applies to mission exp or only kill exp. Can anyone clarify that?

Greetings all, I have several alts I have leveled to 50 and I'm not sure I ever used up all my rested bonus exp on any of them. I would log off in a cantina, on board my ship, or on the fleet at night and the next day when I logged on I would have plenty of rested bonus exp. This would be enough for several hours worth of questing. If I did run out it must have been rare. On this particular alt, an operative, I am running out within an hour of logging on. I am currently lvl 22 and not using any bonus exp boosts. I am just doing normal class and planet questing and only doing heroics occasionally. I can't understand what's different about this alt. I can barely finish one map area of Nar Shadaa before running out of bonus exp. I only seem to be acquiring a fraction of the rested bonus exp I have on previous alts. And I am logged off in a rest area at least as long as before. At least 10 hours a night between play sessions. Probably closer to 12. Can anyone explain what is happening or offer any suggestions? Hello all, It is my understanding that as of 2.0 they will be eliminating Tio, Col, and Rak sets. What is the point of this? I realize that BH is going to become the new Tio or Col or whatever... but why completely eliminate the old sets? If the armor set bonuses will now be given via armor mods entirely, then there is no need to get rid of these armor sets. If we can now mix and match our armor (and keep the bonuses) just how we like it, then let us keep these old set pieces. Just move them to a vendor somewhere so those who wish to buy them for companions, style, etc... still have that option. I realize many people don't like the sets. But many people don't like the previews of the new ones either. Tastes differ. But the money has already been spent on designing these sets. To throw them away entirely is a waste and unnecessary. Just put them in an old vendor and charge a fraction of the price of whatever the new currency will be called. Or charge EC for them. Some people like the added style options. There is no reason for TOR to throw away something that some people still like and they have already spent the resources on developing. The solution is simple, just move them to a single vendor somewhere. If the armor set bonuses are armor mod bound, then we should have more style options. Not fewer. Have a good one.

Hello all, If I am understanding this correctly then all armor sets below BH are being eliminated as of 2.0. BH becomes the new Columi as it drops in HM FP dailies and I'm guessing you earn some new universal currency to buy BH in pieces as well. And they are removing the free Tio set at lvl 50... Granted Tio is nothing amazing, but it does provide a nice boost to get you immediately ready to start doing HM FP's. So if we have alts not yet 50, we should probably rush them to 50 while we can to get the free set right? Based on past experiences with updates, does anyone have even a rough estimate of how much time we will have? Are we talking weeks, months, end of the year? Anyone have a ballpark guess? If you say within a month I probably won't bother. If you said at least 2 months then I have a chance to get some real work done. Thank you for your time.

I didn't know that, but this tank was as far away as I was. Out of the enemy pull range. Around 25 or so I think.

I was playing my DPS Sorc the other day and saw something I didn't quite understand the mechanics of. An assassin tank took on the X-37 Oppressor droid at close range. He got knocked back. Then he seemed to stay in the area he landed and kept aggro. Somehow the rest of the group wasn't getting pulled towards him for that awful aoe attack it does. I know at least one of the team was MDPS and up close. I was trying to keep my distance as was the healer. I was trying to focus on DPS so I didn't have a chance to closely observe what was going on. I wrote down his name real quick to ask him about it later, but he dropped out and we had to re queue for a replacement. He didn't reply to my email asking him about it. (SIdenote: is it just me or has something changed with dropouts? I remember DC's showing a disconnection graphic on top of the portrait. Now people just seem to disappear entirely and their portrait is gone. ) I've been trying to find info on this strategy, assuming it is a strategy and not just a fluke, but have had little success. I have no assassin/shadow first hand experience. I want to somehow use this strat for my tank if possible. My main is a guardian tank. It is for him I want to understand this better. Can anyone explain what they were doing exactly and how the pull and aoe attack was being avoided? Thanks for your time.

Do the account wide cargo and inventory unlocks apply to new characters? By this I mean characters created AFTER unlock the cargo or inventory space. So, if I unlock an account wide cargo bay today... will a character I create tomorrow have that extra bay open as well?

Where exactly does the choice to start a romance with Ashara start? Some are saying Taris, but the answer isn't clear. Also, if you missed that particular window of opportunity, does another one open up at any point later? Thank you for your time.
