I am pretty sure only the world boss on Belsavis is 2 hours. The rest are supposed to be 1 hour.

The new world boss on Voss will have a chance to drop a +41 magenta crystal schematic. Require a 16man Ops team with a certain crafted/vendor item to prevent one of his abilities, I think someone from the PTS says it hits for 200k without the item...

You mistake what I meant here. The first lightsaber you get is customizable. You don't get to keep trying to craft it, it's a one-time deal. If you want to be able to crit-craft lower level lightsabers, you will have to wait until 1.2 comes out and introduces those new schematics.

What crafting do you need these mats for? You say you're a pvp player, so why do you need to be making pve gear? (which is all the high level mats are used in...)

There are not schematics for them in the game. The premade mods drop randomly in operations.

Except you do get to make your own lightsaber pretty early... And by swapping out mods/etc, you can potentially keep that same one until you reach 50...

Investigation says "any skill" [paraphrased] in the Codex, but I don't think it rewards Cybertech schematics, since Slicing is the source of them.

You don't lose much using a Crit-crafted Str shield (and no need for a Willpower augment, blech!) I leveled to 50 using crit-crafted purple Str shields, and the comparison was a loss of minimal Force damage and less than 0.5% Force crit...lol

Are you mad you wasted mats getting the blue/purple for both? There was a post not too long ago that had the comparisons between all of the enhancements that are mirrors, and it was stated that the list never got truly updated from the beta to either get rid of them, or have the actual different ones. Sorry you missed that.

I believe Taris and Balmorra each have one. Though these can't be used effectively for Mara/Sents, for skills like Rupture (requires two lightsabers). So it's mostly just for looks, sadly.

The Legacy gear is random drops, and from what I have read it cannot be RE'd. So aside from if being relatively easy to come by (if you're in the farming mood of course...lol), it's worse than getting lower level crit-crafted orange gear.

My shadow tank has used a Str shield from the moment I was able to crit-craft a purple. You lose negligible Force damage and less than 0.5% Force crit by using one. Not that big of a loss.
