  1. Nice Post Troll... Sure nobody wants to group with operative anymore because we took 10% damage nerf, you know because those damage meters say we do half the damage of other classes now. Even with the nerf I suspect our damage is still on par with other classes. Crap, I'm happy now. I no longer o spend the first 15% of every boss fight using my auto attack with a few skill weaved in. I can use my abilities right away now, but I still pull threat if I don't use countermeasures. This thread is dripping with Troll, oh noes, this game nerfed my op class... This has never happened in the history of mmo's.
  2. There really isn't support in this game, other then tank and healer you go for dps. Sure some classes have armorpen and things that help a little, but it's really about taking good dps without being to melee heavy.
  3. I play a level 50 Operative as my main, I'm decently geared 4/5 Columi with Columi Mainhand and Offhand. The things I notice most from tanks is their threat generation, I'm constantly pulling aggro from tank after using countermeasers, some tanks threat generation is so slow I end up blowing Cloaking Screen real early in some operations. Getting to the point, I've had all types of tanks impress me with threat generation and all types dissapoint. Whether one has higher threat then the other doesn't matter as long as they can gain more threat then the dps, which good juggs can do. From a mitigation perspective, I saw a mathcraft post comparing tanks and they are all within 5% mitigation wise. Sorry don't have the link.
  4. For Empire Black Talon is very simple, most runs for me are around 20 minutes now days. False emp use to be the 2nd easiest, the bosses are pretty easy but it does have harder trash then most the others. With the recent nerf to Foundry I'd say it's the easiest now, the trash is cake, I can solo half of it. The only somewhat challenging boss is HK-47, but overall I'd say the bosses are equal in difficulty to False Emp with much easier trash.
  5. You guys are really funny... Don't bring melee or Imperial Agents. Operative here, last time I hit a enrage timer was the day I hit 50 doing HM Black Talon. There's only 2 Hardmode fights that pose a challenge with melee, boarding party and the bonus boss of KUS. Other then that your just silly waiting for range dps. On the Imperial Agent/Scoundrel side of things they do great damage. I'm sorry but critting for 5k, 3k, 3k, 3k while having 2 dots on a boss is not bad damage. Pulling aggro from geared tanks with guard on yourself and using countermeasures means your dps isn't bad.
  6. I'm by no means a Jugg pro, my current alt is a level 33 Juggernaut and I really love the style of the class overpowered or underpowered I will continue to play it. My main question is in regards to Soresu From versus Shien Form. To me it seems like we are punished severely when using Soresu. Our 2 main rage builders are reduced by 50%, on top of that Shien Form refunds one rage after using abilities, even smash ends up giving you rage in Shien Form. Now I understand they're a lot of talents I'm not taking into consideration, but at this point it seems like Immortal spec spends far to much time using rage builders that do very sub optimal damage. I know they are 2 different specs but the rage usage and building seems like a night and day difference while our tanking counterparts don't seem to have so much of a disparity with resource management.
  7. It's a bug... It's very annoying hardmodes don't grant social points or darkside/lightside points.
  8. One thing that really bugs me about Vette. She stands so far back to dps when you find something to scavenge it takes her a while to get there.
  9. It's the same for every class. Probably 7-10 models you can earn while leveling up then your pvp and pve set at level 50. I really don't think its bad considering more will continue to come out. Also out pve tier set is pretty cool looking.
  10. 2 things to keep in mind. One is blaster rifles affect our damage just as much as vibroknifes do. Second once you level 50 they are more obtainable. The tier one vibroknife is the cheapest item you can buy with tionesse tokens. I've seen my fair share, I've won 3 tier 2 vibroknifes, one on Dr Lokin the other I vendored.
  11. From a pve perspective our damage output was not changed. The night before the patch I upgrade 2 126 rank items to 2 136 items. My Hidden strike crit went from 4800 to 5000 with the 2 upgrades. All my other attacks went up in damage slightly. My guess is pvp now has a level 50 bracket. People are naturally going to feel tankier when a higher percent will have pvp gear and full talent trees.
  12. They might have a 2-pt talent that somewhat resembles ours. However that's not the comparison I'm trying to make. Try to off Heal as operative in a pinch, all we can is spam Kolto Injections and the pathetic Diagnostic scan. Very low heals per second and it burns through energy very fast. Now the Sorcerer has Dark infusion, Dark Heal they can cast untalented. They can heal faster and longer with no healing talents. Now the Mercenary has Rapid Scan, Healing Scan and Rapid shots. Allowing them to again heal faster and longer with no healing talents. Our main issue comes from one of our base healing abilities requiring a tactical advantage. Like the other healing classes we come with 2 strong base healing talents, however one of ours is just about useless without healing talents, while there's remain usefull.
  13. Now I'm not complaining about our heals when we spec as a healer, those are fine from what I've seen so far. My main issue is our heal, yes I said it heal if you don't spec as a healer. Now I'm not expecting to main heal with a full dps spec, but it would be nice to help a little if the healer drops or **** hits the fan. Baseline no talents our heals are by far the worst available. Now they become usable with just a few points in the medic tree. Right now I do a mix a Hardmodes and Operations. When it comes to Operations I'd really like to min max, but those 2 points have saved my hardmode groups on several occasions. Just a rant, our base heals suck, invest 2 points and they are comparable to other dps specced classes base heals.
  14. Once I hit 50 I started using Lokin, now that he's almost fully epic he heals like a beast. Gold's die while I still have full health. Wish I used him while leveling, I used Kaliyo for all my leveling.
  15. It's quite good for a healer since you lack damage. The thing about it requiring you to use debilitate first isn't bad at all, considering it has the same cooldown. Look at it as a bonus of getting a free high damage attack on mobs after using a stun, debilitate gives you time to backstab once along with Eviscerate. That combo alone makes leveling much faster for a healer.
