  1. Why it posted this twice....
  2. :: Open Log :: Day 1. I decided to keep an open log of my long road to becoming a Jedi in this personal holo I managed to purchase. I'm also going to keep this here so I don't forget it, that way when I want to study it I can. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force. So there, got that taken care of. I wonder if i'm supposed to question the code? I mean, how does one live without passion? Don't get me wrong, I used to ship freight for a living before I was asked to join the Jedi Temple here but... no passion? Does that include no passion in music? Art? Seems kind of ... one sided. I didn't know I was force sensitive until the order contacted me. Don't get me wrong, I agree with everything they say but I hope they allow some stretching of the rules. I mean, no passion, does this mean I can't see that cute Twi'lek on Nar Shadaa again? Ouch... Oh well, I mean I get where the order is coming from but.. I just feel there's not much I believe in when it comes to this code. Jedi are supposed to guard the weak and help people in the galaxy right? Defend the Republic? Ah well, my first meeting in an hour with my new Master. Maybe this guy will have some answers for me. 3. If you believe expertise alone is the problem, then you seriously need to purchase a clue.
  4. Yeah and I bet you leap small buildings in a single bound too, huh? I call B.S. on this because it's not possible to kill a competent level 50 fully geared in PvP gear even if you are smart about how you fight him. Period, end of story. Youtube video or it didn't happen bossman. I am gearing my character out as best I can, all of my equipment is orange and modded in even level mods and level 50's in PvP gear 4 shot me. Sith sorcs aren't even challenged or concerned by me because their force lightning just puts you to a crawl so you can't get close to engage. Winning a match and you soloing a level 50 by yourself are two completely different matters all together. Your team can win you a match, but all you will do is be dead weight. A level 50 in a match on my server goes something like this. Rush to the center. Start checking levels. Find a sub-20 character and then run directly to them. Trash that person, find someone else low level. Ignore the other teams level 50's until nobody else is left, then just fight it out until the lowbies respawn. Again, prove us all wrong. Post a youtube video of you destroying these level 50's in your undergeared character. Until then, go back to that fantasy world you're living in.
  5. While were at it, make PvP 50 only so you don't have lowbies to gank all day?
  6. Incorrect, and shows you never PvP'd except when you got to 35. Old School DAoC had three brackets. Thidranki Murdagen Caledonia Thidranki was the 20-24 bracket, Murd was the 25-29 bracket and Caledonia was the 30-35 bracket. Upon later expansions they completely revamped the pvp system to include level 1-50 PvP brackets. Right now, there are no brackets which means 10-50 despite gear restrictions are all in the same bracket. If you think bolster makes that big a difference then you're just hoping they will listen and not remove your 50 easy mode game. As it stands now, 50's don't fight each other, they hunt down and kill lowbies, why? Because the lowbies can't fight back.
  7. If you are HONESTLY saying that being level 50 vs a level 10 isn't overpowered, and is balanced, then you seriously need to rethink what you consider a 'good' pvp fight.

    Ain't no thang.

Congratulations, your server is slow on level 50's because mine has level 50's falling all over the place. Shien.

    Ain't no thang.

Your server is slow, my server has a crap-ton of people on it that are level 50 and PvPing and yes, there would be plenty of people to fill games if they were separated. It's to a point now, the low levels are dropping the games if there are more level 50's on the other side then on ours which means.... we lose either way and they get a free win. Something has to be done about this, because I do like casual PvP but as it stands it's just a farm fest for level 50's.

Second game of Huttball for the day. 5 Level 50's vs my team, a mixxed group of sub-30's with 1 or 2 50's. Totally dominated as they simply camped us and ran the ball in with the other three people.

    Ain't no thang.

I'm level 16 on a Sith Marauder, I can't touch anyone level 40+, period. I can't even breach their bubble most of the time. Anything lower then 50 I do just fine again, may not kill them but I can make them turn to deal with me. The game isn't the problem, geared level 50's taking on lowbies is the problem.
  12. You need to actually rephrase your statement there boss. I'm not 50, my highest character is 28, but i'm a casual PvPer... and I still say there's something wrong with the current system.
  13. The problem with the battleground system is the level difference between classes. Right now battlegrounds are almost unplayable because on my server the 50's don't fight other 50's if they can help it, they hunt down low levels to fluff their kills with. Huttball becomes so one sided when you have a level 50 who has the ball and a bunch of low levels trying to kill him, it's impossible. Unless a level gets on the level 50 ball carrier then you will not score unless you are extremely lucky. The current 50's aren't unfair, they're just top of the food chain and farming PvP gear off all the low levels who are leveling up. I agree with the OP. Make a 1-49 bracket, and then make a level 50 bracket, that will even things out somewhat because the gear level of the level 50's is killing everyone else. It's early game Bioware, listen to your customers, not to your dev's. We are telling you the current system is kinda broken and needs to be adjusted, so please take that into consideration.
  14. Rated PvP doesn't prove how good you are or how much skill you have. It just proves you can get carried by X amount of people. So please, stop trying to say Rated battlegrounds make a person good. I mean look at Swifty, Swifty couldn't 1v1 his way out of a paper bag. All of the games he puts up along with all of the videos he makes are set up games. Look at his 'top damage' video. Fully buffed up with cooldowns in a pre-made battleground in which both sides were in the same skype. Rated battlegrounds prove nothing, they only prove you can pick people to carry your flaws.
