  1. Considering this is not the normally scheduled maintenance we can probably assume this patch is related to bug fixes they feel need to be implemented ASAP.
  2. The number of sales must be way off the numbers they had projected. So they have decided to try and sweeten the deal to draw in more suckers oops I mean customers. Rather than offering us facts about what will be included in the expac they offer us more crap. Titles.holo statues and mini pets are cool but these are the kind of things that should be included in in-game content. Not as a incentive to preorder a expac.
  3. Display Name: Babyduck Account Creation Date: 10.30.08 Been here since the first week this forum became active.
  4. This. Only after things have gone terribly wrong do they start to consider what we the customers might actually want.
  5. I have to disagree with this statement. Over 2 million copies of the game sold in the first few months. BioWare/EA had 9 months to show that community that they had created a AAA P2P MMO and they failed. This game has not lived up to it's potential and no one is to blame but the people that created it.
  6. I'm sorry but I find that adding more species that are human or near human is just boring. How many human species do we need? Put armor on them and they all look alike! I can't get BioWare to change their minds but I can vote with my wallet and with my words.
  7. You could most likely find at least half a dozen volunteers right here on the forums that would be qualified enough and talented enough to create new player character models for alien species. The person doing the job has to be willing to put forth the effort to make the models great or it will look like crap and have clipping issues. Just like many of the models we already have.
  8. So what you are saying is that any species that may require a little extra effort to get just right has no chance of being added. Glad to know that BioWare isn't interested in going that extra mile to make a awesome game.
  9. Have a look at the long running poll on new races. Wookiees and Droids have a lot of votes, last time I checked Wookiees had the most votes. Cel Cawdro's Ultimate "Community Desire for Species" Poll is the thread name. BioWare doesn't like for us to link to other topics so I won't provide a link. I can update that wookiee is no longer the top vote getter in that poll but it is still very popular with the third most votes.
  10. Unfortunately this yet another example of BioWare NOT listening to it's customers base. This game would be far more popular if people could play species like wookies, droids, hutts and so on. I'm sorry but your story often gets in the way of having fun!
  11. This sounds like it will be a Wintergrasp type event on the western side of Illum. It will be a disaster, the lag will be unbearable when you get a couple hundred players all stuffed in that area trying to fight each other. Sounds like it could be a fun event for the pvp crowd, too bad the game engine can't handle mass pvp.
  12. Personally I like Rocket Boost in it's current configuration. I would suggest they fix what ever bug is causing the issue that you described and leave Rocket Boost alone.
  13. I just spent $18.75 for two sandwiches at a local restaurant. Money wasn't an issue as I knew what I was paying for before I paid for it.
  14. Pre-ordering only gets you 5 days early access. If you are unhappy with the amount of information released then don't pre-order the x-pac. Personally I have no problem missing out on the 5 days early access. As those days will be the ones that they use to fix all the new bugs and the lag problems they introduce with the new content.
  15. Rocket Boost, ship mailbox, companion affection bonuses, shared buffs, and presence bonus for completed companion stories. Just a few of things I find extremely help full. You may not be happy with the Legacy system, that doesn't mean that every one is unhappy with it.
