I've been running Windows 8 with SWTOR for close to a year (starting with the beta) without any problems. From my reading of the forums I do not see people having more problems with W8 than W7, but it could be a case. A new OS is bound to cause some new bugs to emerge.

- Get the Tusken armor set from the Grand Acquisitions Race. - Wait for it to become legacy gear. (As we have been told it will.) - Fill it up with Black Hole mods. - Mail it to your alt. - PROFIT!

And there is no friends trial any more. Sure, you can invite someone but they do not need it to play and gain nothing.

I lost one character name and my legacy name. Still worth it big time! There is new hope for the game!

I think 1.2 was a great patch. And I do not see legacy as only something to keep us distracted when they "fix" the game.

Yes, the event was great!

This is not about not get infected, but that he can easily get to Tatooine to buy stuff with his DNA samples. For most players getting infected is something positive, as long as you are able to reap the rewards. Someone at level 10 is not excluded from participating as long as they can get their ship before the event ends. And that is quite easy even if they are at 10 this late in the event.

Fair. But how much could the plague really affect him in the hours it will take him to get it? All the time getting DNA samples for the trouble like the rest of us...

You can easily get to the event vendor without entering combat, so it do not matter how low level you are as long as you have your ship. Get killed by the plague four times and you got enough to buy a customization. It only get better from there...

It amazes me how someone can be bothered enough by the plague to make a QQ thread. Even if you do not desire to get it, the inconvenience is *really* minor and only for a total of ten days or so.

Pretty sure you can't get them from a vendor.

They should add this as well as other forms of gambling.

Agreed! This event is a huge success. Those few who hate on it will never be pleased with anything.
