  1. Hello everybody, I am looking for a new character to level and could not decide on which to play and was wondering what you guys thought. As of now my characters are 50 Assassin, Scoundrel, Sniper, Guardian, level 29 Sage who is absurdly overleveled, and a level 20 Merc. I have been playing since beta way....way back and had a level 50 Sorc also. I am looking for a class with good story and plays well in both PvP and PvE. Thank you in advance for your input.
  2. Hello, currently I am level 50 with almost full Rakata and I am specced lethality. I was mm a while ago but respeced. Lethality: In PvP (I am full Battlemaster) I love lethality going up against all targets except Assassins with their cleanse. Most all of Lethality's damage is internal which is great compared to mm, where my ambush can be shielded etc. Culls numbers are amazing along with crits from the Dots keeping my energy up fairly high, except when throwing in a OS into my rotation. In PvE I feel that Lethality has slightly higher mobility than mm, although FT and Snipe and instant. Once again most damage is internal, and you do not have to be in cover to use any of your main abilities except SoS which is my favorite filler. Cons in PvP: I find myself saving my main abilities until I find a target that has full or almost full hp. I do not use my Leth CDs on people who are close to death because a grasshopper might be close behind and require me to bring my dps to bear. Lethality also can not switch targets effectively due to its rotation. Cons in PvE: Overall I love Lethality in Pvp, marksmanship will pull slightly ahead when killing multiple targets is required. Also when a boss goes into a phase that requires you to add something to your rotation (ex. Gharj Dr. Lorick) when adds come out or movement is required lethality runs into energy problems when a simple OS is added. Sorry for the bad explanation, was writing in a hurry before raids start. Lethality does put me ahead than the other sniper who is MM and fight for top dps against our Marauder. Overall once you get nice gear (high crit and surge gear) you will put out a lot more damage and run into less energy problems because more crits= more energy.
  3. Hello SWTOR readers, I am looking for another class to play and level. I have 3 level 50s, Assassin, Scoundrel, and Sniper. I am looking for another class that has good story and companions that are interesting. After finishing the Agent's story I do not expect any story to rival it, but I am looking for another class with an interesting story. Also a class that is not the FOTM since i do not find any joy in rolling a class that is a dime a dozen on the starter planets. After all im a used to playing the underdog after rolling a scoundrel right after there big damage nerf in 1.1. I enjoy all rolls and looking forward to reading your comments.
  4. ^LOL, Sorc player all the way. He must still be angry when we handed his *** to him at releases.
  5. On a side not Sorcs are sooo easy to kill becasue you all are 10 year olds who back peddle .
  6. BW took a very direct route to destroying the operative/scoundrel. Now they have no sustain damage like sorc, low survuvability unlike sorc(SUPERRRRR Bubble), HUGE energ pool, best heals in game and have an amazing AoE, you have a knockback, ops do not. The only thing that is far better that operatives have that yall don't is story and VO . So FFS shut up about your EZ class and pick up a hard class to play and than come back, otherwise all of you Sorcs defending you class (50% of the population) need to shut up and stop whinning about your poor poor class and how you got a lil cut, while others just got tossed off a mountain. Shut up all of you Sorcs unless you have played another class to 50!
  7. Agreed fire them all and get a new armor design team, pvp team, and don't even start about the Ilum team!
  8. What I think he is trying to say sir, is that the healing capabilities of the classes are different and the Sorc/Sage has the advantage of energy regeneration not necessarily healing capabilities as I have a 50 scoundrel champaign gear healer and he great on the move just have very little burst heal and sometimes fall short of energy when Cool Head/Agent mirror is on CD. Sorc/Sage can sustain heals far greater than the operative/scoundrel and yall know it's true.
  9. Agreed, and lets hear it for SCORPIO. And the smuggler gets the wost companions.
  10. I have a level 50 assassin on Port Nowhere. Got to 50 and saw the patch 1.1. Have not played on the empire side since. Rerolling a scoundrel (even through the dumb nerf) to play the underdog and feel a sense of pirde for my faction. While i must say the empire has it better (better looking armor, BW biast ie. dirty kick, easier planets i find) i wanted to play the Republic becasue the Empire just sucks! BW better add some of the stuff you and many other suggested or GW2 here i come.
  11. Also nerf was kinda dumb. Tthe operative has no sustained damage and are easily taken down by a skilled player(which most of you are not). I am an assassin and I have killed many operatives becasue I know how to play. Just CC break knockback/stun and you are fine. Operatives/Scoundrel we all knew would be nerfed becasue of all of you 13 year olds who need to L2P. Operative burst ahs been killed way to go BW after the Ilum fail now this. O GW2 you look so much better now.
  12. Just play healer, it is what I am doing or i might hybrid the Slow Release medpac and then just spec the dps tree (forget the name) and leave off Acid blade.
  13. ^ Agreed BW Get your act together and fire the idiots who thought of Ilum to turn out like that!
  14. Woot Woot Houston! Ya know where Kingwood is, right next to Houston!
  15. Houston (Kingwood) Texas We need a Texan guild!
