  1. Exactly this, 10 minutes on Oricon and Im getting headache
  2. Totally agree with this , I want to play my alts, but if there is nothing meaningful for them to do on conquest I will go play something else or, heaven forbid, go do some real life stuff instead. That is ok for me but I think it hastens the end of this fine game when so many other ppl are doing the same or even planning on moving their guilds to other games.
  3. What I really dont understand is why they are discouraging us from playing this game. I like the game. I WANT to play it , I like the new flashpoint alot and the additional goals/tweaks to conquest was a huge improvement, actually did make it better than it was before, but for one week only. Since thursday, conquest which is what gives me the framework for what I choose to play is just telling me 'play one or two toons then go do something else.....' and I'm afraid that's exactly what I'm doing
  4. Really liking the new flashpoint, absolutely lovely world and interesting bosses. I hope more story or activities are set on Nathema its awesome, the new decs are nice too. Well done to the team!
  5. If it's working as intended this is a big leap forward from what it was. Even if the legacy vs character thing is still broken and will be fixed its still a big improvement. We have more choice which compensates quite a bit for the (perhaps) less ability to repeat. (like Kendra I'm really not sure how this is actually meant to work) The craft 30 items thing does improve the situation a bit for crafting but not to the point where I wanna swap back all the toons I made into biochemists and start making war supplies again. That is still a mugs game as far as I can tell. The really big thing I feel is still an issue is that now there is not a hope for any but the very largest guilds to ever get any planet conquest achieves whereas before, with careful preparation, almost any guild could get at least some wins on the weeks with many planets available and that was a really good motivation for guild activities. Moving in the right direction thanks! ......... keep going
  6. I had hundreds of war supplies which I've been using up on the Invasion force goal which is also skewing their numbers since I (and I guess many others) will not make more war supplies at their current cost, so once the ones already existing are gone conquest crafting will be a thing of the past. Relogging bug + stockpile of war supplies got me at least 10 toons capped this week, I doubt I'm the only one using up materials that seem to be redundant once they 'fix' what they did.
  7. Problem with all this is that guilds don't get rewards, characters get rewards and less characters seem to be getting rewards now and even less still will get them if they fix their reset bug. At the moment there are still people who have lots of alts getting advantage from the fact that their broken system resets the 'legacy repeatable' goals whenever you log a new toon for that day. I'm one of them and I'm playing as much as I ever did though no longer joining fp or warzone queues. As it is right now they are not seeing the effect their planned changes will have because their new system is badly broken. I think there are some very nice things about the changes, in particular, more things to do is a welcome change and the principle that guild members should get rewards for hitting a threshold rather than on their place on the board is also a good idea, but only if guild members can actually benefit from their guild hitting the target. If personal thresholds are too high for the points on offer then nobody benefits. It might look like guilds are benefiting but unless their members can hit targets guild point totals are irrelevant. Personally I don't think its such a bad thing that different weeks favour different types of activities such as ops, flashpoints, warzones or crafting either though I'm not prepared to do stuff I don't really enjoy all week just for a conquest I might still take 1 toon up to the target to help out with guild points.
  8. You are probably correct about their intentions, but those people you refer to as CG Gods also keep the queues for all group content functioning at a reasonable pace. They just gave us UNITED FORCES cos people were drifting out of the game due to impossibly slow queues and low population. Now they give us an update which seems designed to give us slow queues and alot less activity outside of the big guilds. Personally I've spent less time in game since this update and I guess I probably fall into that top 1% on my server (for time spent on CQ objectives anyway) I've also been a permanent sub for the last 4 years. What have I been doing instead? ... looking at other games. I only play one at a time so if I find one I like better it will be a sad farewell to swtor and my contribution to queues which was probably equal to 10-12 casuals will be gone too. The time I HAVE spent in game has been in my large guild, not the small ones and if I do leave, the big guild probs wont really miss me, they have no trouble at all in keeping guild full of active accounts. In the smaller ones it will be more of an issue to have one fewer guildy to run group content with, one less person starting guild activities. I don't see a single way this is going to help small guilds. With only three planets there is now zero chance to ever get a planetary achieve in a small guild. There MAY be an increase in encryptions coming in due to hitting the low yield target but at a price of less activity in guild as people no longer play their alts through group content. Crafting which was previously an opportunity for a small guild to work together over an extended period to focus on getting onto the leader board or even winning a planet has been nerfed into oblivion. As a player with many crafting alts I can say I will never make even a single war supply at current cost. If they dont change this and if I cant find a better game, I'll will play only biochemists since I dont have to craft stims and med packs for them, and abandon CQ crafting altogether. I do NOT want to spend hours and hours on low level planets looking for scattered nodes... What idiot thinks that is anyone's idea of a fun activity?
  9. This IS availabe to do, at least on rep side not checked imp, you pick it up on the orbital station iirc. I did it on rep side a few weeks ago for the achieve, Its a very long tho, I'd recommend a stealther for it
  10. I typically spend alot of time in game every night and have a multitude of alts and this isnt for me either..... so who does that leave?
  11. Well its almost over and I managed to cap 5 toons, it was not fun though and I wont be spending that much time on it again. I'm hugely disappointed that the companions I spent so much time and credits levelling are now pretty much worthless, and that crafting is now removed as a way for smaller guilds to make their mark in conquest. I wont be making war supplies ever again under the new system, they are a total waste of time, effort and resources, so once I run out of them I wont be making invasion force either. This means even fewer toons will cap going forward and if I want to spend time in any of the smaller guilds that I'm a member of then I'll probably have to pretty much abandon doing conquest for my main guild. Have not decided which way that will go yet. Biggest disappointment is how pointless all the alts I made and spent time levelling are now. There is zero incentive to ever make another character here anymore and the whole thing just seems so much less social now. My normal routine involved capping toons in at least 4 guilds and once in a while putting my main focus in one of the small guilds if they were making a particular effort to get up the leaderboard. This last week I have not had time to even log those characters. IT SUCKS and unless you change the point yields in a major way I dont see your proposed changes making much difference at all. New ops boss seems like fun but only got round to looking at it last night because of what you did to conquest.
  12. It still feels like you are trying to make me do stuff I dont want to do. These are minor concessions on something that is horrible, it might make it just about bearable but I thought the point was to improve, not screw things up then grudgingly fix a part of what you just broke. Its still a massive disincentive to queue for group PVE content. It still isnt going to help smaller guilds, if anything they are going to have more problems keeping activity. As people struggle to keep their contribution up in the bigger guilds who is going to have time to play alts in small ones? Not me for sure and I was doing, very happily. I have been playing this game pretty much exclusively for the best part of 5 years and subbed throughout. i'm now actively looking for a different one, if I find something I like before you fix this ***** then that's one more (reluctantly) gone.
  13. Well this looks like it should cure my addiction to this game quite nicely. I used to like doing conquest I certainly wont be doing crafting the way it is now, gathering was tedious enough before. The rest of it seems pretty hard work too :/
  14. Me too, bored to death with same old, same old planets :/
  15. Improving the legacy hold would be more likely to happen perhaps. It would be useful to have the tabs there too
