  1. Alright thanks. Started an imperial character, so I'm glad to hear it.
  2. Hey everyone! Haven't been around for almost half a year now, but this new KotFE video sparked my interest once again. I'd like to start up again, and was wondering how the activity is on Progenitor these days. What I'd like to know is: How active is the PvE community (rep / imp)? How active is the PvP community (rep / imp)? How active is the RP community (rep / imp)? Thanks for your answers!
  3. Hey y'all. Short version: I am a Bounty Hunter looking for a role playing guild focused on non-force users (Mercs, Techs, Operatives, Snipers, Soldiers etc.) Long version: My character is called Dacter Ragan. He is a black human male Bounty Hunter. He's known to get the jobs done, and doesn't leave loose ends. He is very determent and relies on his expertise and skills. I would like to be in a role playing guild that focus on covert missions with minimum force user involvement. Dacter Ragan believes that force users are not to be trusted. So if any of you have knowledge of a guild that suits my description, please notify me! Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Dacter Ragan.
  4. Can we get any confirmation that the Hood toggle will be in 1.5?
  5. I saw on the official twitter account that Server Transfer would be available after todays reset. How do I find out if my char is able to transfer?
  6. Well, most people are here because they think WoW sucks.. So when we see the same things in this game, this game also sucks.. BUT you are wrong about point number 2.. there are FAR more loading screens in this game, EVEN at end-game.. You have to travel to the flashpoint (atleast 3 loading screens) you have to enter the flashpoint (1 loading screen) - and then the loading screens in this game are just FAR longer than in any other game i've ever played. Don't even get me started on the FPS issues and crappy game engine.. Just saying. Anyway, that's why I am not subbed any more..
  7. Hello guys! I was really looking forward to move away from WoW, and experience some of the epic Star Wars moments similar to the ones I had in KoTOR and the JK series. I got into the beta weekends and started the game. Like others, I had issues. Even though my computer exceeded the requirements, the game still managed to overheat my graphic card and ultimately shut down my computer. The only way to work around this problem was to upgrade my otherwise fully functional graphic card. But I was willing to pay because I was sure this game would be fantastic! So with a brand-new graphic card in the desktop I ventured into SWTOR again - now able to set the highest graphics and maintain a steady 60-70 + FPS! Wauw!.. Unfortunately I am the part of the 5% - I have FPS issues .. For no appearant reason, my FPS will spike from time to time. Every time I open an UI unit, the game freezes for a sec. Everytime I summon a companion, the game freezes for a sec. In Warzones the FPS drops dramatically, and Ilum was just ****ed up. But I am still able to play the game.. I can just ignore PvP and look through my fingers with the annoying UI bugs.. Yea, I would still be able to play the game if it wasn't for the tons of loading screens this game presents. Travelling from planet to planet is a nightmare of waiting. Also doing flashpoints is a nightmare if the group wipes a few times. Takes ages to load into the flashpoints. Of course, playing flashpoints is pretty funny, and I can wait to get in there where the fun begins.. But I also need people to play with.. Where the hell is everybody?! I feel more alone than ever when I am wandering the cartoon-styled landscapes of SWTOR. A max of 10-20 people on the planets, and 60 people on the Fleet Station in PRIMETIME (7/8 pm.+) As far as I can see these are problems many other players encounter.. Tonight my 2 month subscription run out, together with a lot of otherp players.. And I am not returning before the bugs are gone. I am sorry BioWare, I really am. This is a great game, and has tons of potential, but it is just not good enough yet. I know other MMOs also took their time to get it right, but I do not want to pay while the game is still in development. Sorry for all the gramma failures. /sbjessen out
  8. Hello guys! Here's a little thread about why I unsubbed this game. I hope you guys will read it and comment! (Especially you BioWare..) First of all, I've been an almost religious follower of this game since early 2009. Seen every Friday Update (god I loved how you guys kept us up-to-date every week!), and been active on the forums. (R.I.P. off-topic..) I was really looking forward to move away from WoW, and experience some of the epic Star Wars moments similar to the ones I had in KoTOR and the JK series. 9. I think a cross-planet or server chat could fix the feeling of being alone.. Would be a lot easier to make groups if all were connected to the same chat.
  10. Either this still applies after nearly three months.. Or the game is just really dead. ^^ In prime time we are lucky to have 80 peeps in fleet station. Most of them are just standing there. It is really hard to make a Hardmode group, and I haven't even been in a Operation yet. I know tons of you will just scream "JOIN A GUILD NOOB", but shouldn't PuG'ing be possible in this game just as all other MMOs? - Playing Republic on Basilisk Droid EU ("High" populated server).
  11. Can some one please tell me what the melody in the background is called? I really need to know the name, so I don't have to listen to TotalBiscuit, while listening to this melody! >.<
  12. If you open your Computer, you should see a new T: drive, called SWTOR-RAM.
  13. 1. copypaste the ALL-IN-ONE script into a text program like Notepad. 2. Save the file as example.bat on your desk. (you can call the example what ever you like, it is just important to have the .bat at the end) 3. Go to your desk and right-click on the .bat file. Click "run as admin". 4. The .bat file should open - now you click S. 5. The .bat file will close itself (atleast it did for me), you open it again ("run as admin") and this time you click M. 6. Now the RamDrive is setup and mounted for SWTOR.
  14. I've set the script to 'yes' and I can clearly feel a difference! It has helped a lot, thanks. Another question: is there any way to lower the time on the loading screens?
