  1. So, you're mad because operative healers aren't as terrible as people thought they would be, right? So happy to hear that =)
  2. Yeah, that's true. On the good side, your RN works like an AOE heal and buff, and your Infusion gives you 3% damage protection (internal and elemental, not sure) for 45 seconds (!!!). On several hard healing situations, I used to put RN on one of my team mates, kolto probes (if they haven't) and kolto waves (which is awesome above 70% energy, cuz it's cost is almost neglectable), and dude, this combination heals you fast as hell. Right now I think sorc healers will take our reign, but as I said, I still have faith.
  3. My main is an operative healer. It's noticeable that the healing output was heavily decreased on several abilities. I was veeeeery scared when I read the description of the upcoming changes ont he developer's blog. But right now, to be honest, I didn't feel that the nerf was that bad for pvp. I even like the fact that now we truly have a healing rotation. I've been doing great on warzones and even on regular arenas (not only against stupid pugs, but even against good people). Tell me guys...how did you feel playing it after 3.0? Did you think the changes were that hard? P.S: Still not sure about how viable it will be for ranked arenas. But I have faith.
  4. About PVE...dunno, I'm alergic to PVE. On PVP...it's still very very good. I can't tell you how it will do on ranked arenas, but on regular warzones it's strong enough. Think of Recuperative nanotech not only as an AOE heal, but also as an AOE buff. The cool thing is, even tough surgical probe has an energy cost, it should be used more often (don't remember the reward for consuming TA, but it's good). Operatives now truly have a rotation, and it's a nice change in my opinion. If people master the rotation, I think everyone will be just fine.
  5. Don't know about PVE, but on PVP I'm fine so far. I'm constantly breaking the 900k heals mark on normal games. On a regular arena, against very protected dps players, I did 2k hps quite easily. The healing output was decreased pretty heavily, it's noticeable, but the new rotation is quite interesting (even better imo, kolto infusion and rn gives you pretty good side effects, and kolto waves is awesome). On regular warzones it's super viable, and if we still had 8v8 ranked warzones, it would be as well. On ranked 4v4...only time will tell. But I believe it's possible.
  6. Yeah, that's undeniable. Operatives were the best healers in this game for several reasons. Good healing numbers, easy energy management, high mobility and awesome defensive cooldowns. The thing I don't understand is why Bioware gives so much to a class or spec and a few time after they just decide to completely break it. Not saying they will do it (can only say it after I play it, and gonna try hard to adapt, because I just love the class), but that's the fear I and probably a few others had when we read this developer blog. More than the healing numbers, what truly concerns me is the energy management. I think this is what will hurt more the operative healers after 3.0.
  7. Sorry, but no. It's just the simple truth. I'm a returning player, my main character is an Operative healer but I also have several others toons (the only classes I haven't played yet are the jugg/guardians and commando/mercs). When I came back to this game like 1 month ago, my sentinel was with non min-maxed partisan (!!!) gear. Even that heavily undergeared I could put down operative healers from good pvp guilds on The Harbinger or at least pressure them a lot. Besides that, I was playing combat, which is still a not very comfortable spec to me (I used to play focus when I stopped). I'm not a superb Sentinel, but I could do well against OP healers because I understand the class very well. This is a common problem with pvp players: they don't understand how to counter other classes and just start whining.
  8. I read this blog like "dude, we're nerfing your healing abilities to the ground, but plis don't be upset about it" Haven't played it yet, but I'm already planning to make my Powertech my main toon after 3.0. It's kinda sad to see how Bioware makes a class way overpowered (and I don't think Operative healers were that OP, people were just too dumb playing against it) and then they just break it, making players mad once again.
  9. Hello everyone. I'm a returning and very dedicated pvp player. I have two main toons, my operative and my sentinel. My operative is on POT5, but since their pub side is pretty terrible and hearing that The Harbinger is a most competitive pvp server nowadays, I decided to bring my sentinel here. I'm a little bit rusty because I stopped playing before season 1, but I still know the basics and I feel that I'm getting better. When I was at my peak, I used to play on very dominant pvp guilds on POT5 like I AM LEGEND and Rock Bottom (for a quick period that they were there. Itchy'eyes used to play on The Harbinger too, didn't he?). Right now I'm looking for a good pvp guild to play regs at least (of course, no good pvp guild would take me to play ranked arenas with min-maxed partisan gear lol). My sentinel's nickname is Al'paccino, so if any guild is kind enough to test a returning and right now heavily undergeared player, please contact me P.S: my english isn't sooo great, please forgive me.
  10. I think it's kinda hard to get a proper answer in a topic that has been deeply trolled already, but since I don't wanna make another topic to ask you almost the same question, I'll give it a try....what's going on? I haven't played this game for more than a year. Used to play on <I AM LEGEND> and on <Rock Bottom>, stopped playing a few months before Season 1 (!!!) and now decided to try this game once again (I was playing Destiny, which is very cool but the social interaction is pure garbage). So...what are the guilds/teams that are relevant on pvp right now?
  11. Hey guys, I want to hear from you what are the strongest classes for DPS right now. I know, it's a super boring and old question, but let me tell you why I'm asking this. I don't play this game from more than a year (I stopped playing before Season 1!!). When I stopped playing, rage marauders and snipers were the devil and operative healers were just superb. I came back, already realized that rage marauders aren't as good as they were before and that operative healers are still awesome (lol). So, for DPS, what's hot atm?
  12. Great, my PVP interface has not changed on PTS and I can't queue for Arenas.
  13. I will, probably at 9pm est. Or an operative nerf...oh, wait... P.S I facepalmed everytime I saw "reduced damage" on the Vanguard/Powertech changes.
