EDIT: Oops!

According to Patch Notes, you can gift Decorations from the Nightlife Event to your guild now. No, you can't.

I was able to start the launcher and log in, but after that the patcher just tells me there is an unspecified error and that I should try to download the patch again (already did download the patch on patch day, already played a few hours ago). I can't get into the game because of this. What is going on? Can someone help and tell me what is going on? Restarting launcher, computer and internet connection does nothing. Anyone? "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again."

I'm fuming! Luckily, I still got some of the old level 50 sets before the patch hit so I luckily obtained some of the sets. Still a dick move from Bioware. Two questions: 1. Why? 2. Why?

Also zwei neue "Taschenlampen" da wäre ich auch gegen. Mein Wunschtraum (den es wohl niemals geben wird weil zu aufwendig und teuer): 1 neuer Startplanet und 2 neue Klassen pro Seite. Republik: Startplanet entweder Kashyyk oder Endor (Wald, dazu Wookie oder Ewok als Spielerrasse) Klassen: Agent und Kundschafter. Ein republikanischer Agent wäre sicher interessant, dazu könnte man bei Kashyyk als Startplanet die Machenschaften von Czerka dort untersuchen (auch wenn das inzwischen wohl überholt ist, aber dennoch - gibt imho einiges her). Für den Kundschafter habe ich keine Idee in MMORPG-Begriffen, da ich mit der entsprechenden Theorie nicht vertraut bin. Imperium: Startplanet Dagobah oder was ähnliches (Sumpf) Klassen: Soldat und Kundschafter. Auch wieder: Ein imperialer Soldat wäre zumindest vom Storyfaktor interessant. Und Kundschafter als erste Klasse die von vorneherein beide Seiten haben wäre nett. Ich kenne natürlich die Schwachpunkte an der Idee: Kopfgeldjäger/Soldat-Symmetrie bzw. Agent/Schmuggler-Symmetrie bzw. die "Spiegelklassenproblematik"; vom Blickpunkt Story her wäre das sicher interessant, von der Balance her nicht so gut (vor allem PVP) und letzten Endes wäre das kreieren von 4 neuen Klassen-Storylines zu aufwendig. Aber wie schon gesagt: Neue Startplaneten fände ich interessant und ich denke dass imperiale Schmuggler, republikanische Agenten, imperiale Soldaten und republikanische Kopfgeldjäger zumindest vom Storyfaktor Potential haben. Mehr "Taschenlampen"? (Crap ich mag den Ausdruck) Eher nicht. Machtklassen, OK. Machtanwender ohne Lichtsäbel, nur mit Vibroklingen u.ä. und der Macht - wie die Hexen von Dathomir oder ähnliches, das wäre was! Eine Klasse auf jeder Seite (Spiegelklassen halt ), dazu eine Nicht-Machtanwender-Klasse auf jeder Seite und jeweils ein neuer Startplanet... EA, shut up, take my money and DO IT! ;-) Edit: meinen Train of Thought etwas aufgeräumt

An when do I get an answer to my questions? Tomorrow after maintenance? Do I get a message than saying "Hello, here are the ****uppers. You fell for our ****up and then didn't press ALT+CTRL+RIGHT_SHIFT+C+F7+D to start the download of the 12 GB patch. Your account is destroyed. Please pay us much money for new game client which you have to download twice at 56k speed. Happy now you idiot who pays us money?" Bioware, if you didn't get it: I'M ANGRY! JUST! POST! A! SMALL FAQ! FOR! YOUR! LITTLE! FAQ UP!

I mean, I left the launcher unattended after logging in around the time when the ****up happened. So maybe it patched and I didn't notice it. And then played. Do I have to reinstall then or would the 12 GB patch show up if I start the launcher now?

So if your client doesn't start patching the 12 GB patch everythings peachy right?

IF I START THE LAUNCHER AND/OR LOG IN AND IT DOESN'T DOWNLOAD THE 12 GB PATCH AND INSTEAD LETS ME PLAY RIGHT AWAY - THAT MEANS I DODGED THE BULLET FIRED BY THE INCOMPETENT MORONS WHO DID THIS **** RIGHT?!?!?!?! Does the 12 GB patch auto-patches? If I start the launcher, log in and it doesn't patch - is then everything OK? Why isn't there anywhere an indicator which tells me if I patched the crap patch of doom right out of moronsville? Can someone please answer my questions? Do I have to submit a ticket? HELLO? Anyone?

I'm confused. How do I know if my client is corrupted? Does the 12 GB patch start auto-patching if needed or do I have to repair the client? I'm still trying to sort the timezone-mess out (I'm playing from UTC+1) and I'm hoping that I was logged in when this crap happened and did log in again when they fixed it (I actually exited and relogged 3 times in the past hours, and don't know if I was in the timeframe for 12-GB-patch-or-even-reinstall-hell. I logged in right after I read about the 12 GB patch fix. It didn't patch anything and went to "Play" immediately. Am I good or will tomorrow be spent with reinstalling? Please help, I'm confused and tired.
