I was discouraged by a few folks when I hit level 55 to start trying to learn to heal at this point on my Commando. A friend of mine showed me your post yesterday and I used some of the suggestions (well those that I could absorb in the 20 minutes I had before the raid, LOL). I have to say I was scared to death at first that I would screw up but your post really helped me. Now I LOOOVE healing on my Commando. My next mission though is to convince my well established guild to embrace this newbish healer and give her more chance to hone her skills. Thanks!!

I saw this issue in General chat yesterday. Is the problem with the completion of the entire quest or just a bonus quest? I left Hoth after finishing my class quest but not too far ahead that I can't go back and at least finish a portion. Thanks!!

OMG the radius is horrible. I have regulary emoted "leaning over and whispering" to later hear "I heard what you said" even though they were across the room. Please Bioware for the love all that is droid, please lower the chat radius!

I say keep in mind that for a decent percentage of RPers, good ole sexy times is a big draw. With that being said, I have found that a polite sorry, not my RP style or if the scene fits the story I ask to FTB the sex part and move on to the next scene. I have found mature players will respect that request.

Long term RPer here but new to SW. I am looking for good source material for RP. I have found wookiepedia but I tend to learn more through existing literature. So with that being said, can anyone recommend any good books out there? Furthermore, any books on the slave trade still in practice by the Empire i.e. types of slaves, attitudes of the slaves etc. Thank you much.

I moved to Lord Adraas and love it. In terms of RP-PVP, I did find some good pockets of RP on Jung Ma but still nothing compared to what I have found on Lord Adraas.

I recommend Jung Ma. I was there for three months but moved to Lord Adraas last week. I felt Jung Ma was too PVP focused for me to fit in well.

Thanks guys for your input! I have slowly leveled up an imperial agent and a smuggler and amazes at how much RP i am seeing around me. I think this will be a great server for me overall.

Hi all, After browsing the forums, it seems like Lord Adraas is one of the servers to be on for Role play for us EDT/CDT folks but I am still considering giving Sanctum a stab too. SWTOR is really my first experience with a MMO (minus a couple weeks in WoW before SW launched) so I have been mainly PVEing with a friend the last couple of months and have a pretty good grasp of the game interface. So last night I jumped on the server and created an Imperial Agent and a Smuggler. I am about to leave the starting planet on both characters tonight so I figured I might start hunting for some RP, but I am not sure where to start. I see info about RP guilds, have browsed a couple of their sites and wow, lots off hoops to jump through it seems. So I guess I should ask the folowing: Is the guild route the best way to find rp? Any recommendations on guilds? Where are the main areas for RP on Lord Adraas (or other EDT servers)? Do the republic and empire sides interact often in rp? A bit about me and what I am looking for: I am an experienced Role player, mainly though in Second Life and various forums linked to Second Life. I have RP'd in a couple genres (loved Game of Thrones RP but it seemed to explode then die quickly) and tend to prefer RP based on existing literature/movies. I am a para rper but I am not a fluff RPer. I like to engage those around me and provide as much info to react as possible. I am also over 30 which I fear might make me a grandma in SWTOR, LOL. That's it. Love the game so far - even learning to deal with the chat interface which I think is really lacking in catering to the RP folks. See ya all on the grid!
