Bottom line is there are thousands of post where people feel they were mislead. EA did not properly manage expectations and this is what is causing the disappointment within the community. Before you post a reply to this...yes I know there are as many, if not more EA/BW fan boys defending EA based on the EULA, ect.

does the scroll wheel support left & right <> clicks? This is my only beef about my current naga.

When will companies understand that these type of misleading marketing tactics to get a few extra bucks, pre-launch will ultimately hurt them in the long run.

My faith in your ability to properly set and manage customer expectations. ERTS shares have dropped 7.5% in the past 2 days. Given all of the marketing, development and infrastructure cost to launch this game your number 1 priority should be protecting churn. How do you protect churn? By developing a good product and keeping your customers happy. You definitely have a good product w/ out a doubt but I fear you have cannibalized any future pre-order sales significantly by over promising and under delivering on early access. You should not have hauled the dates in on EGA if you were not prepared just to drive additional unit sales. Will SWTOR be a good game and last for many years to come? If you don't pull something like this again it probably will. Will people be hesitant to pre-order online games from EA in the future? Probably. i certainly will. If this were the case BW would have allowed everyone to log in day one. Once leaving the starting zone we would be ported into a cell with a gas chamber and with no escape, which is marginally better than hitting f5 9000 times per hour.

Limiting early access is clearly a direct result of EA wanting to test the capacity of the forums. This is in essence a human caused DDoS attack...and it's holding up well.
