  1. You sort of can. The ship will react to WASD (unfortunately it does not move with Strafing, so I rebind my keys when i plan to do a lot of space missions). So you can use W to move left while aiming right by putting the mouse over there. It's not 100%, but it does tend to help in some of the missions, especially ones with asteroids.
  2. Exactly. I had a few guildies ************ about this. We did some testing since some of us don't have this problem. Easily discovered problem -> Spamming your keys creates artificial lag because the client does not realize the GCD is triggered yet and it delays your activations. If you single press your keys instead of spamming you WILL NOT get ability lag. The resolve bar is a good idea (DAoC PvP had a similar mechanic of diminishing returns 10 years ago) except there certainly needs to be some tweaking in SWTOR to improve it's effectiveness.
  3. Funny where does the game say that. The website says: Slicing – a skill in accessing secured computer systems and lockboxes to acquire valuable data and rare schematics And holy crap!! You can get schematics, missions, augments, etc. Treasure Hunting lockboxes have always returned less $$ than cost to send...and the items sell for less to vendors than the cost unless you manage to find a buyer...just like the stuff returned from slicing.
  4. Slicers should stop complaining. I'm surprised no treasure hunters have said anything. Since beta and launch, Treasure Hunting has the same ability to send out for lockboxes (aka not make anything from what is returned similar to slicing)...and whenever they come back with money, it is always less than it costs to send out. The point is to level the skill, and allow you to get back other mats (augments, missions, etc) from the other mission types you can send out on.
