  1. There is a setting to automatically target the next hostile target in your preferences. This has nothing to do with TAB targeting. That is what is causing your sniper to be targeted so quickly, and this will happen when the person you attack has no target or their target dies.
  2. I haven't had any luck selling either, though currently I've been targeting 750k-1m. Those willing to pay don't have the credits, and a ton of people are confusing it with the +33 version. As I get a bigger supply of the pristine crystals I will lower my price, but I was having a hard time finding them for a while.

    CC is out of control.

    We've about got ourselves an agreement. I can only say here that even when I was not having my current latency-spike issue, I was noticing the problem, and so is not necessarily linked to a connection issue. It could be a server communication issue on BioWare's end, where too many requests in a short time span leave some requests ignored, or some checks skipped. I've seen this happen in several other MMOs and other applications that use a lot of simultaneous communication back and forth between a server and client. It could also be that during those time periods my connection was having the same issue as current on a much smaller scale. You and I cannot know if the problem is on BioWare's end or mine from the information I have given. I will pay more attention for stuns and resists, as I will be doing a lot more pvp this week to start working on battlemaster gear. Please acknowledge that some of these players could be experiencing similar problems without being aware of possible communication issues. If connection issues and bugs have the same effect (primarily on systems with intermittent and minor connection problems), how is the player supposed to know it's not a flaw in the game? That's really all I'm getting at on that front, and everyone claiming CC is fine just can't see where the other side is coming from.
  4. I got mine off the GTN, but I haven't seen any up there recently. I also haven't seen anyone else advertising the crystal, so I might be the only one with both a +41 schematic and the knowledge of the alderaan crystals on my server. I keep telling people where to get the stuff when they ask me though.

    CC is out of control.

    1. I already stated the bug (as I perceive it). It does not happen at an alarming rate, but it is enough that I can notice it. It is possible this is because of a communication latency between my game client and the server, but usually my connection is extremely low latency. When my connection spikes, I'm usually sitting still for a second or more with none of my inputs showing through until my connection fixes itself and my client catches up on what it's missed. That issue is relatively new and I'm having my cable provider fix it, but I have been noticing resists and stuns like that since the game came out during periods where I have 16-30ms ping times. 2. I understand this, and I disagree with it. We are allowed to disagree on what we find appropriate game mechanics, are we not? I feel the extra 2-4 seconds of immunity gained by waiting until the CC resolves would produce enough of an impact to ease several players' frustrations. 3. Spells have 100% accuracy, and no sorc endgame gear comes with accuracy mods or enhancements. None of my other spells "miss" or "resist". Why should my stun? That doesn't make sense. Are you sure that's what's going on here? I saw 1 such instance of the resist yesterday, and i did not see any instances of myself getting stunned while resolve was up. To be fair, this week is the first time I've done PvP in over a month as I took some time away from the game and the stun issue might have been resolved in an earlier patch. 4. I agree that my connection problems are not a "bug". I see this effect rarely enough that trying to film for it is counter productive (Might take me several weeks to get you that video due to how little I pvp and how rare the situation is). I have acknowledged that it might be an issue with server communication or my ISP and not necessarily a bug, but that doesn't change the fact that I see it happen. You guys keep pounding against my statements when all I am telling you is what I see as fact. I do not know what is causing the issues (outside what I now know is a feature that I disagree with on white resolve). Even with these issues (which from my perspective are minor, but frustrating), I am within top 3 healing in basic recruit gear with an average of 3 deaths per match (was full champ before 1.2 but not yet done enough for battlemaster. Picked up recruit so my TTK wasn't instant after 1.2) So far been spending my warzone coms on crafting stuff. I'm doing well enough to not need to worry about Battlemaster or War hero yet, and it will give me time to get my valor rank up (sitting at just 28).

    I did not complain, but simply state a fact. Before this post, I have not stated whether I feel CC is too much, too little, or just right. I may have been mistaken on the ability to stack CC prior to going white, but I disagree with ANY implementation that has the white resolve bar diminishing before the effect ends. This means that resolve has ticked down almost half its usefulness over the course of a mez that just barely hits the resolve limit, which is frankly stupid. Outside of that, CC is relatively ok. I wouldn't mind there being slightly fewer CCs to deal with, but as a ranged character I can use LOS and good positioning to mitigate more than a melee would, and I haven't had a terrible experience. When you add the boost to expertise damage in 1.2 on top of this diminishing white bar during CC, I can completely understand why some people are getting frustrated. I have seen people with an empty resolve bar "Resist" stuns (and they hadn't been ticking down a white bar prior, so I didn't hit the tail end of an immune state). I have also seen myself receive the benefit of stuns while I had full resolve. I would guess that in both instances latency is a big issue (though usually my ping is in the 16-30ms range, sometimes it spikes up). Either way, that part of the problem is not working as intended. If they fix the bugs with resolve and modify white resolve to only diminish after the CC ends, I'll be fine with keeping everything else the same.

    I have seen my own resolve bar diminish while in the middle of a stun. I know how it's supposed to work. Intent and Reality aren't always the same thing. Edit: White Resolve should not diminish while the spell is active either.

    I have noticed with the 4-second stun, that the target's resolve meter starts dropping while the stun is active, so if timed properly, you can get a 4-second stun and 2 mezzes to trigger before the resolve bar stacks. This requires you to give the player a little less than 1 second after the stun and first mez wears off for the bar to drop. I haven't done a lot of pvp lately, so I don't know if this issue has been fixed. But definitely, you should not lose resolve while in the middle of a stun or mez. The resolve meter should not start dropping until the effect has been removed. That should be the first fix, because it should be the easiest to implement. After that, they need to figure out why resolve is working in some cases and not another (sometimes resolve doesn't prevent a mez or stun. More likely with high latency)
  9. I have found multiple Rough Adegan Crystal Shards on Alderaan, and have successfully crafted the +41 crit magenta crystal on my server. They do seem a bit hard to find though.
  10. Healers already receive a 30% penalty to healing in PvP (and this has been the case since beta), so our heals are weaker. That is basically exactly what you're asking for. the Expertise bonus available right now doesn't even cover the loss of healing from that penalty, and I'm not sure if the diminishing returns will even allow it to in the future.

I have crafted one of the +41 crystals on my server, and I can tell you this shard is indeed used for those crystals, but must be refined first. the +41 schematic uses 1 of the magenta Adegan Crystal (from the Force Ghost you mention) and 2 of the Pristine Adegan Crystal (which is the refined version of the Rough Adegan Crystal Shard found on Alderaan)
  12. Any ability that goes into the ability queue uses the primary target instead of the focus target. This is what causes some of your initial casts to work properly and later casts to hit the unintended target.
  13. Using the standard heal rotation (Resurgence, Innervate, Consumption w/ bubble as needed) it is next to impossible to run out of force. However, there are instances where interrupts, mistakes, or boss mechanics can force you to change your rotation. The 4.5 second rotation of Resurgence -> Dark Infusion -> Dark Infusion uses a ton of force, and if you need to constantly bounce around your healing between different focus targets, it is very easy for a Sorcerer to run out of force. Of course most of that can be mitigated by your party members playing better, but even good players have bad days, and bad players will take forever to correct their mistakes. I see certain boss fights where the Sorc shines, and I see other fights where the other healers are a tad better. I'd say the other healers might need some slight buff, but right now they all look really close in total damage mitigation/healing
  14. I'd value the Magenta Adegan Crystal (the crafting component) to be worth around 100k. I've been selling the crafted power crystal for about 300k, and the market seems to suggest that is a reasonable price, at least on Kaas City.
