  1. The one ticket I sent in got a response, but they just directed me to fill out a bug report and maybe post about it here, so, here I am... I understand that the person responding probably wasn't someone in a position to push the bug notice straight to the front of the "queue" for fixes, so I don't hold it against them, but it sure doesn't seem like this has recognized by anyone else. I may just end up opening another ticket to see if I can get a different response.
  2. Bumping, and also pointing out that bugs with the character creator have indeed been fixed before, seeing as there was a note in a previous patch which states: "When creating a Cathar, the fur color 3 option will now be consistent regardless of what cathar head is chosen." There's no reason this Zabrak bug should still be in the game after a year's time, with plenty reports coming in for it already.
  3. I made a thread about this almost a year ago when I was last able to actively play, and submitted at least a trio of bug reports about it, but it seems like this bug still exists despite that and other players saying that they'd reported it as well. Currently, when unlocking the Zabrak species for one's account, there is an obvious discrepancy between making an "Imperial Zabrak" on the Empire, vs on the Republic. The very first skin option when making one on the Empire is a pale and more human skin tone (the only one with that variant of Zabrak), but this skin option is not available when making the same type of Zabrak on the Republic side, instead being replaced by what looks like a repeat of one of the red skin tones. This is really upsetting, since I was looking forward to hopefully being able to finally make a Zabrak on Republic like how I had first wanted to, but the bug is still present and a problem. I'm looking for some kind of confirmation that this has been acknowledged as a bug, even if it won't get fixed tomorrow. This seems like such a small issue that wouldn't take much to sort out.
  4. They closed the ticket after their initial reply, and didn't leave any indication that they'd get back to me on it. I've been half-tempted to open another just for the sake of trying to get clarification on the first.
  5. Didn't realize some of them were repeats; I don't have the best eye for color differences. But I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who recognizes the missing option from the slider. Like I said in the OP, the response I got on the ticket was a bit disconcerting because I wasn't entirely sure if they were acknowledging it as a bug, or if they thought it was an intended difference.
  6. UPDATE: I received a response on the ticket, though it wasn't as helpful as I was hoping. From what I understood, the reply came from someone who isn't entirely sure if this issue is a bug, or an intended choice on the part of the developers. I made a second bug report about the issue, but I also posted another thread about the topic in the "Suggestion Box" part of the forums.
  7. I've reported this as a bug, as directed by a customer support rep from an ingame ticket, but the way they responded made it seem as if even they weren't sure if this issue was a bug or an intended choice. In the case of the latter, I wanted to bring up the fact that when unlocking the Zabrak species, and allowing the player to make "Imperial Zabraks" on the Republic (and vice versa), the skin color customization choices are not consistent. In my case, I unlocked the species because I saw that the Imperial Zabraks have the option to use a very pale white/human-esque skin tone (The very first option, furthest on the left of the slider), which I really liked with their option for blueish eyes and the black tattoos. However, I wanted to make the character as a Jedi, and so I went and unlocked the species to open up that avenue. But, when making the "Imperial Zabrak" over on the Republic side as a Jedi, that same skin color option was not an option on the slider. Not only that, but I noticed that there were actually more choices in varying shades of red and orange than there were on the Imperial side of things. I'm holding out that this gets changed in the next upcoming patch, so I figured it was best to bring this up in a number of locations on the forums.
  8. Still no response on the ticket. I've also submitted a bug report but I'd like at least some form of acknowledgement towards the bug, even if it's just to say I'll need to wait for the next patch for it to be fixed.
  9. I have a ticket still open about this, but I figured I should post something here about it as well. The other day I made a Zabrak on the Imperial side to test out their creation options, and found that I really liked the "Imperial" Zabraks a lot more than the Republic variant. I unlocked the species ingame with some credits, so that I would have the ability to make an Imperial Zabrak over on the Republic. When I went to go remake that character, though, I found that the very pale/gray skin color option that I had when actually making the Zabrak on the Empire wasn't there, even though I had fully unlocked the species. I don't really understand why an option would be taken away, so I assume that it's a bug. I was really wanting to use that particular skin option on my new character, but all that's available for the Imp Zabraks when made on Republic are the standard red/orange/pinkish skin tones.
  10. While I'm not new to SWTOR itself, I am relatively new to the two latest expansions, Knights of the Fallen Empire, and now Knights of the Eternal Throne, and I have some concerns after reaching a certain point in the story of Knights of the Fallen Empire. - WARNING: Spoilers may be mentioned below, you have been warned - After escaping Asylum on the Gravestone and being introduced to the new "Alliance" forces, I'm finding that dialogue with a number of NPCs is no longer voiced by my character, and the UI for conversation is boxed in by black to create a smaller window of focus. This came off as a very stark change from what I've grown used to playing in all the game's previous content, and it seems like a major downgrade from having my character actually speak in conversation. As someone who's stepping into this content for the first time, I don't really enjoy the idea of my character becoming another voiceless MMO character like in other games, and I don't think I'd continue to play the newer expansions if this is a constant trend. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is a permanent change to how conversations work, or is it only a few instances?
  11. I can see how they took current (pre-update) D/L points and upped them to current values, but I feel like there's some lack of planning with the change. Because of the fact that we get alignment points for just about anything and everything we do, the initial thought would be that we'll be able to climb through the ranks much more quickly, but I feel like the required points don't match up well with the new gains. Before, so long as you did all story quests (both for the planet you were on, and your class) along with a few side quests, you could make good time in progressing through the alignment ranks. Now, however, there's the question of whether or not we should do more. Do I also need to do all the Heroic missions on a planet to achieve a similar amount of points as I did before? Should I go back to planets that I had mostly finished and do all the minor sidequests and Heroic missions I hadn't done? I feel like some kind of statement should have been made about it, but I can't find any, if they exist.
  12. With the changes to acquiring Dark and Light points, should we be able to expect to gain them at the same rate as with the older system? I hadn't seen any sort of explanation of it on the patch notes, and want to know if we should be able to expect to reach certain milestones in the same time as we would before. (I say this as someone who plays their Inquisitor as 100% Dark Side, so my main concern is whether or not it will take longer than before to reach the Dark Side corruption rankings).
