Giving TOR another go and my old guild no longer exists. I am usually active around 4-10 cst weekdays and all day weekends. Prefer a guild that is active in both pve and pvp. Welcome to the "my blinders are off" club. Games lacking way to many features and I canceled my sub a week ago. Just look at all the things GW2 is going to have at launch? All the media coverage yesterday just FLOORED me. I wanted to really find a long term home in tor because I love the IP so much but I just couldnt bring myself to log on anymore with so many features missing

Fiance wanted to try out MMOS this past weekend so I figured we would do Rift lite since I hadnt played since last april and was curious. I am now unsubbed from tor and we are both subbed (she got hooked) to Rift. Cannot believe the night and day difference in these games AT LAUNCH not to mention what all trion has added not to mention their STELLAR customer support (had mobile key authenticator problems and got a free month "for my troubles") Maybe the content in 1.2 will bring me back (I was really looking forward to the legacy system since I am a altoholic) but I doubt it. As of now Rift has been the first mmo I have went back to after moving on. I really wanted this game to be somewhere I could setup camp for a few years but the SW lore just cant cover up a lacking game anymore

My fiance wanted to learn mmos so this weekend we set down to play the Rift lite since it was free. I was instantly brought back to a year ago when I played that game for 3 months and was shocked at how much more polish that game had at launch. From the character creation options to the guild love and everything in between. I decided not to reup this month and give Rift another try. Hopefully BW gets stuff under control and at the end of next month Ill decide to switch back but at this point its VERY doubtful which sucks cause I wanted to love this game so much.

Since Rift has a level 20 trial I played it this weekend with my fiance who wanted to learn how to play a MMO. Man I forgot how polished that game was and now is. (At launch it was alot better then tor) I have decided to not resub this month and am very much leaning towards giving Rift another chance if the fiance gets into it (she seemed to have a lot of fun this weekend) Maybe 1.2 and the legacy system will bring me back but with the glaring lack of common features that should be there at launch i have just had enough. Just my opinion and not flaming anyone else. If you are enjoying it have fun. This makes me really sad D: I had such high hopes for you TOR!
