Yea I have to agree crafting is sort of worthless at least from a artifice stand point. Yes I can make crystals, mods and even lightsabers but for what? Got a schematic yesterday from treasure hunting for a double bladed lightsaber. Figured YIPPEE!! start crafting a saber. Need Marilar and alot of it. can't get it on the broker and then I said well why? you get a orange saber when you leave Korriban and become an apprentice. After that it's just hilt mods for damage and other mods and enhancements to keep it leveled with you. You get a few marks from the quest lines you do on planets and you can buy them there. Why bother making a saber when no one will buy it?

I have a few people running around my inquisitor on chpt 2 of the story never gets the message. When I login with my imperial int officer I get skill tree points reset. He is still on chpt 1. Happened on my sith warrior and my jedi guardian as well. Thought it was because of the patch but then I logged in again yesterday and there were reset again and had to reply them.

Ok well I'm a sith inquisitor sorcerer. I noticed that my str was 6 points higher now it's six points lower. My will power was about 12 or so points higher now it's lower. What soc buff would I be using? I tried un-equipping equipment and re equipping, but it was the same. I did have a stim for will power but that was after the initial high stats I had. Funny thing was I just did a heroic quest line and got a new lightsaber. I saw it had a better mod on it then the one I had so I did the right click to take that mod off and apply it to my lightsaber. That is when I noticed I had a big increase in my stats. It also seemed like Kem was almost un-hittable by mobs. I always watch his hit points to throw a heal his way this time it seemed he lost very little hit points. I then ran into a elite or champion that beat the snot out of us and that is when I noticed my stats where back down after the death.

OK not sure if it's legit or just a glitch. I was re doing some gear on my Sith socerer saw my stats were good and was happy with the gear choice. Doing Ok but died. Did a trip back to a med center and checked my stats again and they where lower and not by a little, allot. So I did a repair and they are still not at the same level they where when I started. Is there a death penalty that reduces stats for awhile? This is the first time I notced it because it's the first time I checked.

There was a trait I could take from the skill tree's that said it reduces pushback of force lightning. What the heck is pushback?

I was actually worried about this fight because I had so much trouble with that jedi commander on alderan. I just beat him with 1 hit point left no lying. I came in and stompt on her hard. The trick is to put klem on combat stance, i usually have him in shadow killer. I was also 33 when I did the fight so that could also be part of the ease.

Thanks the black talon runs, Is that from the fleet station? I'm semi casual Maybe its the server I'm on but I'm level 30 now seems like everyone is either 50 or not looking for stuff. General chat is usually dead looking for group stuff. Unless I'm not looking in the right places. Figured General would be the best place to look for grouping.

Is it grouping? daily runs? I know there are jump points?? or what not. Want to get my social points up at least to a II level. Thanks

You must really hate me then. When I pull it to the sell slot I maybe put an extra 50 or 100 on it just to see if it sells. I think the prices on the market are freak'n nuts anyway. I've seen a ton of schematics on there anywhere between 15- 25k some not even purple. Crazy considering there is no real craft going on just get the stuff and send your lacky out and get it and do it. If it was more say a EQ or EQ2 type crafting, where you actually have to be there to do it and could not go out on quests then sure but prices are nuts. IMHO

I'm a level 24 inq/ socerer I have about 14 marks of narr shadarr I could get the lightsaber which I want to get, or I could get an orange armor piece can't remember if it was leg or waist armor. What would be best to get? the sticky leads me to believe the lightsaber is just a decoration for us anyway, but I still like to hack and slash at times. I also could get the resolve hilt to boost my willpower or I could get the str one to help my damage. I'm leaning lightsaber but maybe the armor would be better.

LOL then you should try everquest crafting... At the start I'm guessing pretty much the same thing. You had to get the raw stuff from the nodes or buy them. THen get the crafting book for the recipe, then when you had that in my example I'll use a backback. You had to make leather straps and hides from the actualy pelt you got first. Then you had to get the tin, steel, etc.. to make the buckel this was hours and mulitple tables to make one backpack the worse part is you could fail and not make anything, you couold also get shoddy which would give you less space, backpack which would be normal or pristine which you could enhance with imbuing. Not backpacks but other itmes. I remember doing it for awhile then stopped way to complicated. Now they fixed it so it's perfect just the right amount of time and just the right amount of work. So far I'm liking the Swtor system, is diffrent but I like it.

Really? I have not noticed. I just started and the green and red crystals al level 7 and 11 I can't keep. I'm also not gouging on the price either. I take the price it sells at and add maybe 10 credits and they sell fast. It's not like I'm actually doing anything, I'm not stopping what I'm doing it so it's really a cash sink for me. I like to craft stuff just me I guess. It's not like everquest where you had to be at a table to do it, buy or havest the nodes then buy fuel. If you had to do that then OK price gouge away because while you where doing that, you where not out adventuring. The color crystals are the cash flow I think. Just got yellow and there is no other on the market right now I'll try again tonight to get 4 exquisit crystals so I can make another to sell. I just wanted a yellow saber so I crafted it for me and I LOVE IT!! Better then the orange, much better then red. saw a guy with a purple one think that may be drop only and can't wait till I get to hunting for a magneta one at 50. I would say adjust your prices and think broader market. I'm not trying to come off as an arse but i just really started so I don't know anythign past 17-??

Thanks all, I was thinking of taking up splicing for the schematic but I guess I'll have to go for treasure hunting. Think it's looking for exquisite yellow gems. On teh up side I was able to mod out my saber pretty nice. red crystal +2 endurance with crit chance, Hilt with endurance and strength, and something that looks like a black mat that gives me +2 endurance as well. Add a yellow crystal to it and I'm all set for awhile, until I get to 50 and hunt that magenta crystal.
