  1. I'd like to see: Baby Krayt Dragon Cage (Dark Side/greedy Inquisitor Cult story on Nar Shaddaa) Dread Master Raptus' Throne with curse crystals (Dread Palace) Holo of each chapter boss for all classes Full-sized Galactic Starfighter ships Small scale drilling platforms (Makeb) Thrantas (Alderaan) Fountain with focusing crystal (Makeb - Toborro's Courtyard) Statues from Dread Fortress and Palace Tauntaun nests (Hoth) Fall themed tree and grass arrangement (Voss) Containment cells in various colors (blue - Section X, red - Czerka Corp Labs)
  2. I'm pleased with the response. Thanks for being specific about the changes you're considering, Bioware. I rarely tank, so I'll leave that up to those who have first hand experience but I think it's too bad we need to drop a differentiating mechanic to achieve balance. I'll gladly take a small damage boost across most of our melee skills. The classes shouldn't be all that far apart once things like single-target Orbital Strike and such are addressed, and I know at least a few people who will appreciate another shot at Deception in PvE. I don't think dispel protection alone will make Balance/Madness a great PvP contender suddenly, but it's a nice start. It will correct the currently near-guaranteed chance that our damage will have no impact on the outcome of a match. I still have concerns about survivability, but we'll see where other classes end up as well.
  3. If it takes more time to get us a detailed response including data backing the developer point of view and a list of possible changes and their ramifications, that's fine. Please do not disappoint. If after taking extra time to provide answers that amount to the nonsense Sages and Scoundrels received, the community is going to flip out.
  4. No, it's based on the item, not the type. You'll just see the default values like you do now on live.
  5. I love all of these tweaks to the GTN. I've especially missed the ease of shift+clicking to search quickly. Here's how the GTN improvements work on PTS right now.
  6. I noticed that when I had the Flashpoint mission from the terminal at CZ-198, it prevented credit being granted to the weekly. On a second visit, without that quest, it worked. I reported it as such. I wonder if you guys also had the mission from the terminal before queueing up?
  7. I'd suggest Xinika/Shin'arika as a representative because of the informative PvP contributions they've made for the community over the course of months.
  8. Hey guys, thanks for the suggested edits. I'm admittedly terrible at math so if somebody can show a definitive solution to a Crit target to shoot for, I'm all ears. When I decided to suggest 20% unbuffed crit, I looked at the halfway point up the slope in the DR graph for the ratings I chose, similarly to what I saw Keyboardninja do for tanking stats. 5% base crit + 0.5% from str + 1% from companion + 6.34% from Willpower + 7.97% from crit rating = 20.36% unbuffed crit chance. (roughly) Reading from my own current stats, buffed I'd be at 26.09% and with Exploitive Strikes it becomes 35.09% in combat. I'm open to being wrong, but I'd like somebody to steer me in the right direction if this looks unreasonable.
  9. I'm planning on finishing my Sage. It's my first and only healer and I've gotta say it's been a bit boring. I'm close to Chapter 3, and hopefully that will change up the most useful tactic I've found - Shield and Forcequake spam while Zenith shoots things. Last one to finish out my Legacy!
  10. Basically we should be fine in real combat scenarios, but our Ops Dummy parses will be significantly lower than other classes. Madness no longer uses Shock or Maul because the devs believed they were shoehorned into a spec that has its own style without throwing other playstyle-changing skills in there for no real reason.
  11. Both female questgivers for GSI on Empire were SGR options for my female Juggernaut. It's just not overt - you need to derail a conversation and specifically ask about that person for it to open up. The same goes for the male/male Empire option I found. On one character I didn't ask about him, but on the other I asked who his master was and ta-da, [Flirt] option. If you're interested in a character, ask them about themselves and you may find it is in fact an SGR option. Take a neutral, "all business" approach and you won't see them.
  12. My Assassin, of course. I only planned on playing one since, oh two years before the game released. No reason to stop now.
  13. In an interview with the Lead Combat Designer, I got some answers on how well the developers believe we're doing for 2.0. The outlook is brighter than you might think.
  14. A few things I was wondering about got answered, so it's a start. I think the first appearance of SGR is a nice step, and there's more they want us to be able to do with companions. That's great for keeping the game feeling like a Bioware production at max level. Ilum and something else involving Open World PvP are on track. PTS character copies should be working soon. That alone could result in stomping bugs like the ones that cropped up in Section X before a patch goes live. "Reasons for guilds to recruit" could mean we see some sort of guild progression and perks, maybe taxes to contribute to the guild bank. Obviously I'd like details right away, but a few things on the "to-do" list we've known about are happening soon, so I appreciate the update.
