  1. I am also experiencing this. I have reset about 15 times. and the door still doesn't blow up. I also have tried clicking on the "ancient switch" or whatever its name is, and that doesn't do anything either. And if i try to click the switch before getting the explosive, the explosives disappear. and if i get the explosives and then click the switch, the explosives disappear from my inventory. I've searched for a work around, or maybe even a guide to tell me if I'm doing it wrong, and so far haven't' had any luck. I just reset the mission, closed out the client and am going to log back in and see if that works. Will report my findings. Update--- after closing the client and logging back in, the door blew on the first try

  3. you are corrrect, i just got both last night, i was actually speaking off my dread guard relics, witch, for some reason when they procced, added to DR. with the new relics, im sitting at 50.24%dr. very sorry for the miss information
  4. I have the 72 set bonus armorings, so there for I would just guess that these are token drops. also, if you read my post, i stated that i was in vanilla swtor augments for shield/absorb, i do not have any current augments in my gear.

I have my set bonus, both 2 and 4 piece, and im almost completely in 72 mods/enhancements/armoring (read UnderWorld) i have the arkanian shield proc relic and the arkanian defense proc relic, when those are proccing, im at 52.4 ish% damage reduction. so, for about hafl of every minute im at that damage reduction, and the rest, im just under 51%. (these numbers are not exact, because they work of percent chance of the relic proccing.) I am not hard to heal, i use my cds, in fact, our other tank seems to take a bit more damage than i do. Also, the sorc healer in our raid has just over 33k hp, and so do both our sniper dps, just to put into perspective
  6. On my Juggernaut tank, I have 18% defense, 38% shield and 38% absorb. I have an armor rating of 9478, and after i get into my rotation, im at 52% damage reduction. I am currently not augmented at all (actually in Vanilla swtor augments for shield/absorb.) Im fairly close to fully modded out in 72 armor/mod/enhancements. Having said this, with my fortitude stim on, im at 39,548 hp. The other tank in our raid (sin tank, pretty much equally geared and better itemized) has 41,824 hp with a fortitude stim on. On the PTS, my juggernaut had almost 41k hp and our sin tank had almost 43k hp, and neither of us had a single augment nor were we even close to properly itemized. I realize that my shield/absorb is fairly low, but im going to be augmenting for those stats, you get entirely enough Endurance from the mods. I also have yet to get the +10 Endurance datacron from Makeb
  7. thanks for fixing my math, its been a bit since i ran the spreadsheet (been min/maxed for a few minutes) but, as i was saying, power is better, and since DR is very relaxed on power, i would still augment power, since crit is still a wasted stat after ~33%
  8. This is true for PvP. main Stat is king (nothing beats running up your crit rateing in pvp), but for pve, power is king. In pve, you want no more than 33-35% crit, With my gear, augmenting willpower wastes stats. Stat breakdown is like this. Willpower breaks down like this: Each point of willpower =.701 bonus heals, also gives a bit of crit. 1 point of power = .761 bonus heals. so in pve, were extra crit doesn't help, and in fact is a wasted stat, you are gimping yourself by augmenting main stat. In pvp, augment, mainstat, in pve augment power, Math is translates into all languages, and it never lies, i could show the equasions, but i cant seem to find my spreadsheet right now, but take my word,. power is THE stat to stack for pve. Also, there is a spreadsheet already done on sorc mainly, but all heals classes, makes math so easy, look it up on google
  9. There comes a time when crit is no longer needed, so i dont use the willpower. and Overkill augments give +12 endurance +18 power, so i am using the power augments. I have 836.7 bonus healing, and 1097 bonus damage. EDIT: i have one alacrity augment, because i needed to get a certain cast speed, and that was exactly how much i needed, and i get more power/willpower by augmenting alacrity and modding for those stats

  11. This is the most important thing i can tell you about rotation (btw, im 5/5TfB HM and 3/4 EC NiM). You want to try to cast resurgence before every single heal, its a very short CD, and if its not ready when you want to cast, it will be very shortly, On most fights were your gear is at the appropriate lvl for the raid, that one second will not normally be enough to kill anybody. (the best filler for that second wait is in my opinion the best ability a sorc healer has, Static Barrier). Using resurgence before innervate guarantees a crit (which triggers the no force regen reduction when using consumption) It also will lower the force cost of both Dark Infusion and Revivication (I believe its by half). Back to Static Barrier. That must be cast on the tank/tanks everytime its available. As I said previously, its the best sorc healing ability (in my opinion) that you have. If you would like to see a fully min/maxed out sorc healer (except for my chest piece armoring) i'll post my askmrrobot info, i'll post it, but, im lazy, and havnt done anything with my character there in a while, so that would mean i would have to update it.

  13. Maybe im missing something, but the Elite Warhero vendor for Bounty Hunters does not have Elite Warhero Relics. wondering if im blind/dumb/ or they are just not available
  14. when bioware calls this an exploit we will stop, until then, you need to stop. cheesing maybe, exploit never. And yes they do know we do it like this. I am intimately aware of mmo dev, and while i may not work for this company, i do know dev mindset. There is more than one way to beat a boss. Did they think of this, maybe, maybe not, but, and all developers of mmos will say this, there is more than one viable way to clear a boss. an exploit would be something like /getdown while tanking Soa, and if you don't know how that worked out, Google search it. That is an exploit, this is a smart use of mechanics edit: I forgot to add this, I'm the healer in this group, the "normal" way, i end fight with full force. on the "exploit" way, i end up with no force. there is more than enough damage going out to make this a "hard" strat, if you cant push, and do not have good heals, you will die. (PS. I've been involved in mmo development for 10+ years. can play any role fairly well except dps {bores me}, so calling me a bad healer isn't going to work)
