  1. I was always spec'd full heal, which I guess didn't make a whole lot of sense since I mostly solo'd. But I wanted to be ready for when I did run something with a group. I was still able to solo just fine, and the only time I had a problem was when I tried to take on one of the last ch.1 story bosses at lvl 27, and she was lvl 31 or so.
  2. Really depends on what you consider good looking. I remember getting a really nice full-body chest piece (that covered whatever pants you had on) on Tattooine I believe.
  3. Played a sage in several builds, and solo'd my buns off quite easily. And honestly, seems like they may have upped our DPS a little more for release.
  4. If for some reason you accidentally sell your crystal or anything, you can also buy another later on the station (as long as they haven't remeoved that vendor).
  5. Sorry if you already tried this, but did you click the arrow button in the way upper left (not the one next to your planet, but the one even more in the corner of that)? That's the "hide chat" button.
  6. FYI if it's of any help to people.... Apparently earlier this week Gamestop started taking orders again for CEs. They are also shipping early (mine is due to arrive today). I was originally a Target preorder, but they screwed me over, and I lucked out with Gamestop this week. So if people are having a lot of trouble with Walmart... there's an option.
  7. Perhaps I'm just too oldschool and been healing far too long (don't understand this "real ui" crap) but ultimately, it's about what works best for you. Some people are key pressers, some people are mouse clickers. I used to be an F-targeting healer, but it wasn't as optimal when I started using my MercStealth, so now I'm a click-targeting, but key presser for the actual skills. Just play with it, see what works best for you.
  8. I don't believe that's a male. Although I will say that I have rolled a body type 4 on a couple of my females because I was specifically looking for the wider hips/bigger rear.
  9. Honestly was hoping that it was going to be in for release. Was disappointing to reach in Beta and not have it mean anything (couldn't even display the legacy name as a last name).
  10. If you enter the product code now, but aren't in the EGA, you will get some error when you try to log in, "invalid subscription" or something of the sort. Otherwise, as long as you're in the EGA, sounds like you should be good to go.
  11. The vendor aside, coming from a online-safety-anal person who had a non-authenticator account for years on that other game, then getting hacked in 2009, I'm a believer in authenticators.
  12. Although our systems are somewhat similar, the main difference seems to be you're on Win7 and I'm on WinXP, and I'm running about a gig more of RAM. My understanding is that, gaming completely aside, you should be running at least 4GB of RAM if you have Win7. And yeah, I was playing on Tython last night, which is mostly outside, and was averaging just under 60 most of the evening, with highs around 80 (cut scenes and such). Again, it may be a difference between Win7 and WinXP, or you just may need more RAM.
  13. As opposed to...? Are you looking for a more over-the-shoulder or first person view, or the "camera bob" or...?
  14. I've got specs much lower than yours (also I'm still running XP, which takes less resources) like a 9800GT, 3GB of ram, a 2.something dual core, and I average 60 FPS with everything on high except shadows off. Not sure what to tell you then. I mean, could be plenty of different stuff, including your anti-virus.
  15. I finally got into the EGA yesterday, and found that I had to turn my sensitivity up just a tad, which was a big surprise given how it was during beta. I think they've definitely fine tuned it.
