  1. I'm 34 and Know exactly what you mean. You think thats bad. You should go to mmorpg.com and go onto their forums. That is one of the worst websites to go on for gaming. MMORPG.com users on there rage over anything, even if the poster is being nice. The gamers there are vile, distasteful and just out right rude. I think a lot of these people that act like this way online are seriously emotionally and mentally ILL who have a mental illness but have not been diagnosed because they don't think anything is wrong with them, how they act is normal to them and how they think. You will find some of them on youtube as well. That Onision guy is a perfect example. Here is another guy named MPC4utube here. I think he has something wrong with him too. He bullys people online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zThxP55Cqeo&list=UUR3DTFdJ7Is40OT7WwTN6yA If you want my advice. I'm Canadian, but I usually don't bother to log onto the North American servers anymore. Instead I log onto the European servers. I find them more laid back and although there can be ******s there too, I generally find the europeans are not always bringing up politics and other racist garbage. I don't know why but I think it's just they are not as stressed out or maybe culture differences, but in the last 14 years I've found the EU servers a tad better. (Sorry to Any Canadian or American Players here) I don't mean it as an offense to you guys. I love Americans and my own Canadians. I just find us westerners online to be a tad over the top at times.

  4. I worked hard on this. I hope it's alright. I want to make more in the future.

  6. Been a subscriber for along long time, but now I just feel like we are being milked.... just a bit. I was a big supporter of the Cartel Market. It was also a good idea in the beginning, until what you greedy bioware developers have turned it into. You used to give us 600 cartel coins and 1 Booster pack which I thought was reasonable. Now we are down to 500 Cartel coins and no booster packs. Plus on top of that your charging people 1200 cartel coins for adaptive "appearance outfits" which to me is absolutely nutts considering most of those outfits are armor sets you can get just from doing missions within the game. Then your charging people 1000 cartel coins just to change their name? Jeff Hickman the executive producer for this game stated they value their subscribers? Listen up, I understand the developers need to make money. I'm all for that. I was a firm defender of this game for along time, but The subscription fee alone should not have us to still fork out cartel coins, or more money just to change our character names or legacy names. These things I did in other mmo's and the were completely free. In WoW alone a GM will change your characters name for free and ask you to log out of the game for no charge. I really see that The developers of this game are all talk. Really they just are a bunch of greedy gluttons who could a damn about their subscribers. I can play Guild Wars 2 for free and everything is unlocked. They even have a market place in that game, but it's better managed and it has a better system were it doesn't force players to purchase things to unlock. SOE"s EQ2 has a better Market Place then this game has, because when you subscribe you dont feel like your getting milked to buy more **** just to get your reputations up or too unlock things in your legacy. The only way to unlock Treek without paying money is to have a lvl 40 Legacy lvl? .. are you serious? you'd have to play this game for 4 months non stop just to get that. I've already forked over hundreds of dollers on this game. This games F2P System is a completely and utter ripp off. The F2P feature in this game is an embarrassment, really if you wanted more people to come back to SWTOR you could at least make a better incentive for the newbies to keep coming back and wanting to change to a subscription, but yet again even when your are subscribed to this game you are still forced to pay more to unlock the rest. I'm done with this game. Good Riddance.
  7. Ok this is in no way a troll post. This is simply my opinion, When i first played this game I thought the Market Place was reasonable, but now after actually paying for a subscription and going through over 100$+ on the market last month in order to try and get Darth Malak's Jaw Piece I can see exactly what the OP is talking about. Anyone here who honestly thinks the cartel market is not expensive, I say put your money were your mouth is, because you are either incredibly naive or a fanboi, and here's why. Most f2p games out there have a reasonable Marketplace. Even Korean games do. SOE's EQ2 Has a great Market Place, not only do you get 500 SC cash they also throw in 3 packs of EQ2 Cards in which all have a chance of giving you loot cards which give you Special House items and Cosmetic Armor. SOE also offers discount prices on Station Cash every month were you can buy a lot of SC cash for really cheap prices and it keeps players and fans of EQ2 not feeling like they are getting ripped off, but actually feel like the SOE developers give a damn about them. As of now, It cost 39.99 for 5500 cartel coins and that won't even buy you 1 contraband pack. You need a whopping 6,912 Cartel coins for those packs. When you are even a Subscriber you still need to have your GTN Market slots unlock because it only gives you a cap of 50 items you can put on the GTN market. As a subscriber everything should be unlocked for you, no ands but or maybe's. To change your Legacy name is another 1000 Cartel coins. To change something like that should only be at least 200 cartel coins. Seriously for 39.99 you can buy an entirely new game for that on steam plus you can even buy pc games now for even cheaper, and your going to sit here and tell me that paying 40$ for cosmetic items in this game is worth it? Seriously go back to school and take an economics class.
  8. I've been playing these types of games for 13 years, and I'm a 33 year old man who likes sandbox SWG PRE NGE type games. What you must realize is MMORPG gamers complain about everything. They are probably one of the biggest complainers out of all the gaming community's out there. Best thing too do is stay away from Official Forums as well, because most of the people here just want to complain for the sake of complaining. Then you have the trolls who don't even play the game anymore, but want to bash the game. Another great site for all these Elitists, and Trolls is mmorpg.com In Beta on these forums People complained on the forums that there was no Open Space, now that's been in development and looks like it will be coming out sometime. Now they are complaining about something else. It just goes on and on and no matter how good things are people are always going to be whining. SWTOR like every other game out there has it good points and bad points, but it's better than some of the other crap thats on the market right now, and I think the developers are trying their best. I could careless about EA or what people think of SWTOR, as long as you enjoy it thats all that matters. Don't get caught up in all the bs. Screw the Drama Queens. Just have fun. That's what gaming is all about.
  9. Do elitist kids on this forum just make smarmy remarks to insult people on this forum or do they actually post anything relevant? FYI I know I wouldn't ever be hired on a forum, Bonehead. I was merely making an observation. Both of you haven't even posted anything relevant other than the fact pointing out one spelling error which only a 5 year old would make a big deal out of and making smarmy remarks as if someone would be as stupid to look for a job on a games forum. I was polite and friendly in my post and asked some pretty simple questions that even a educated 12 year old could answer. Honestly if you don't have anything relevant to say and just want to post Elitist comments insulting people. Sorry I even bothered posting some simple questions. I will speak to Bioware Directly, I can see why Bioware doesn't post in here. ******* like too Profligate on this Forum.
  10. Greetings Moza, You know most of the time people sometimes type pretty fast and accidentally hit the wrong key. In this case I accidentally hit the N key twice (Gee what a Horrible mistake) I have no problem with someone letting me know about a typo or a grammatical problem in a productive and useful manner, but I find little elitist Grammar Nerds like you deliver in the tone suggesting that making such a small and pointless mistake makes that person a complete idiot. Something I used to see when socially retarded 14 year old home schooled kid's do to other people in World of Warcraft. You see, Most of us adults developed basic social skills in high school, and learned how to properly get our point across with others without insulting them, and sometimes in the real working world you may even find people that are not perfect. I hope one day in your development into a man, you learn how to communicate like most educated, mature people do in the real world, and realize you're talking to people not computers. I don't know if you were home-schooled or have no friends/life outside of the computer, but you really should work on your social skills, because if you don't one day someones going to punch you in the face, and give you a bloody nose. Cheers, -Trash
  11. Greetings Bioware and Starwars Fans I Just came back to the game recently and I am curious as too why Bioware has not bothered to Finish and complete the rest of the Codex Entries. It has been almost a year and still the same ones are missing. I understand MMO's are a huge undertaking, and believe me I can sympathize and understand all the hard work put into such a large project, but I am also questioning why such a problem that should be pretty small that could be fixed with a little time and effort has been there since launch, is still there? Is the development team a very small now because of Cutbacks? or are you ignoring it to work on other things? or are you just being lazy? (Which I highly Doubt) Again, I would of imagined that the Codex would of been complete by now (At least the starting Planets Codex should be done by now) but I see Bioware have done absolutely nothing with it other then deleting other entries to dumb it down. It's Kind of Disheartening as a Starwars Fan who is really into the lore, because I had left this game originally because there was a lot of things still not finished yet. IE Codex, Lore Entries, End Game Content .ect .ect Perhaps a Developer could inform me of this as to why, or a Player with more knowledge on the subject and inform me of my ignorance. Thank You my Friends for taking the time to Read this Post. Cheers, -Trash PS: Hell, I'm a 32 year old Canadian that has worked on Previous Free to Play MMO's in the past and has 14 years experience working with many different service development kits and world builders., if you guys don't have any people left to Finish the Codex Entries for SWTOR, you can hire me and I'll work for free and Finnish the Codex Entries myself.
  12. You guys all need to grow up. Why do you grown men on these forums insult others because someone shares their opinion on something you don't agree with. You guys are acting like the little 4 year olds who still play WoW. To be honest, If your that upset that someone feels this way about The Old Republic. I really think your taking your gaming way too seriously, and perhaps getting out more, going on the treadmill/working out/going to the gym, and making friends would help you with your social problems. I really hope one day you finally reach that stage of your development. Because most of us learned how to communicate in high school. Anyways to the OP. No MMO is perfect. It's just how things are with Online MMO's unfortunately. It's just something that most gamers have come to deal with. Including myself. Cheers -Trash
  13. Well I was there when SWG first Released and I was there after the NGE. THE NGE actually removed most of the features SWG had before the NGE was implemented. Most of the people who played before the NGE left the game. If you honestly were there back in the day before and after the NGE you should already know that. Weather the game lasted for 5 years more is irrelevant because there is some really bad, and poorly F2P MMO's out there that have been running for 10 years and are still going, even P2P mmo's. Most of the people who Played the NGE were new players, there was only a few that still remained. I don't know if your aware of this, but Most of Sonys games weather they are popular or not are still running. Vanguard has hardly any players left, so does that mean it's a popular game? no. I think your the one thats misinformed
  14. Since when did I say SWG was hard? I never said that. What I was explaining to him was that if he hadn't been there before the NGE was implemented he has no idea he is talking about.
  15. Bud, honestly if you never played SWG before the NGE you have no idea what your talking about. Because after the NGE SWG went into the garbage can. Have fun lvling to max lvl in 4 days, and having everything spoon fed to you because you have never worked hard for anything in your useless life...
