  1. I'm leveling my Sorc and wondering what is a good spec to level and solo both normal and heroic content. The specs I've found I'm not sure if they are up to date with current mechanics or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  2. Can you update links to the spec for each person (specifically the vanguard) since I can't seem to find it?
  3. Well Aim = more damage and crit. So how would over 300 aim not help me kill faster?
  4. Ok, I am finally at 2018 Expertise, yet I still feel pretty squishy in unranked. I have looked around, and the only solid looking PVP spec I've found is the one from Noxxic. My experience in the past, from playing WoW, was that Noxxic was the site you DIDNT want to reference. So I have two questions; 1 - Are there any really good PVP Shield Specs to reference? 2 - Should I augment with Reflex or Fortitude aug's? I was thinking Reflex to help kill a bit faster.
  5. I'm not looking for free or asap! But I am looking to not spend a week of nothing but seeker droid chasing for one piece at a time. I have no issues with it taking some time, but I chose Dreadseed because I dislike the Star Forager set... and now I have 3 times as many Star Forager pieces as Dreadseed. And I've got doubles of the chest, so I only have 2 pieces in general. What crafted boost are you talking about the improves accuracy?
  6. I have spent the past few days, utilizing the seeker droid in a meager attempt at acquiring my Dreadseed armor pieces. After what is likely 10+ hours of Seeker Droid usage in these areas, I have found that this device will literally run you in circles... Only to then provide you the red ring of NOTHINGNESS! While I believe I understand how the accuracy/directional circle works (The green mark is meant to show a conical direction of replacement), It needs to be revamped. I understand needing reasons for people to be IN the game, but having us spend literally half of a day trying to find ONE piece of cosmetic armor is becoming quite ludicrous. Also, the amount of "Seeker boosts" is in over-abundance. If we search an area and find 10 items, half of them should not be "Seeker Boosts". Please reduce the time it takes to find this armor, as I have gone to my wits end committing to finding this. My dedication and patience have run thin, and my guild mates "Republic of Taw" agree it is in drastic need of a revamp also. A few suggestions; A - Create separate areas for "Star Forager" pieces and other areas for "Dreadseed" pieces. This way, people who want specific armor can search for JUST those pieces. Instead of me sitting here with 6 unwanted pieces of "Star Forager" which I find to be quite unbecoming. B - Reduce the animation and usage time needed for the Seeker Droid to complete its search and provide you a new direction. A 30% reduction in time would be greatly appreciated. C - Improve the overall accuracy of the Seeker Droid and the ring. D - Make the points stay static once they have been found. In other words, if my seeker shows me a direction, consider that item found and leave it there. Do not allow it to reset while I am in mid-search. This seems to be the reason for me searching for 5 minutes, only to end up with a red ring telling me to relocate. E - Reduce the amount of "Rubbish" we pick up, AKA Secure Chests, Seeker Boosts, etc.. This should help aid in improving the time it takes to acquire the armor piece someone is interested in. Hopefully others in the community agree with me. Please post your ideas, suggestions or even if you just agree with my post. Thanks for your time
  7. Other suggestions people were telling me, are the Fleet Pass upgrade. Is that better with CC or Creds? and Maybe one of the GSF ships? Another question, do the Packs sell well? Or are they something that takes a while to get rid of?
  8. Wow, I feel like a complete tart! LOL I was misreading that while trying to get ready to run a few errands and figured I'd just toss out my questions before running out the door. LOLOL
  9. Which ship upgrade do you mean? And what is OR?
  10. I don't know much about the Hypercrates, just that they apparently sell well. I have heard some people say you would almost certainly make better cash just selling the packs off because sometimes you dont get your moneys worth.
  11. I guess the only way to find out is to try one of these specs. My only issue is, the two Assault specs listed have different points in a few talents. Do those points change any of the play style at all? I have always been one to try and min/max and theorycraft, so this tends to make me wary of committing to something before fully understanding the differences.
  12. Hello all, So recently I was able to purchase the $40 cartel coin package. This puts me at 7550 cartel coins. I have been going over what would the best way to maximize my spending of said coins. I was thinking of buying Treek, but he is also for sale on the GTN at 2.75m. My legacy level is only 27, so buying him from the vendor is not an option, unfortunately. Also, I was thinking of buying a Hypercrate and reselling the packs to try and make creds. Another option someone mentioned to me, was maybe buying the Rocket Boost legacy perk. So my question to you is, What do you think would be a good way to spend these coins and get the most out of them? Since I only recently came back, I do not know what items in the CM are worth the price. I don't care much for Cosmetic stuff, so anything that would get me more credits, more functionality, etc.. is what floats my boat. Thanks in advance for any assistance. EDIT: I am a subscriber btw.
  13. +1 The choice to make it per character was bad form, BW, bad form! *In my best Captain Hook voice!*
  14. Maybe I'm too used to playing WoW, where there are so many cookie cutter builds and if you aren't using those you're gimping yourself. So my question is, Are any of these specs "Tried & True" specs? The only reason I ask, is because those of you that have posted specs, the specs look good! But I'm still pretty much new to SWTOR even though I pre-ordered. See, I left 2 months after launch and only just came back last month. So I'm still familiarizing myself, and don't want to just jump headlong into something I don't fully understand yet. So any extra tips & advice with these specs would be greatly appreciated. For instance, the one spec was stated to be tanky with max DPS, yet there is barely much of anything in shield spec tree. Do the other specs provide tank-life potential with different talent choices?
  15. That's my issue at the moment, though. My gear is all mainly PVE gear. Mostly 69's, but still. For PVP gear, I only have the WZ comm relics, implants and ear piece. I still have a good ways to go, as I don't like to farm more than 5-10 WZ's before I need to mix it up and do something else. I might just try one of these specs though. Which has good burst vs sustained damage though?
