  1. LOL! Nice one, good to know our community can be gross yet funny
  2. Lol, probably, but just a non important preference. As for what toon I would like to play, I am for any really. Rep or Empire if fine with me, I enjoy healing/dps most but also like to tank now and then. If someone wants to play I will probably let them pick a toon and I will select the other class that starts on same planet.
  3. Pretty much what title says, I play late night close to midnight east coast time. I enjoy pve and would like to find somebody (female preferably but not important) that has a similar schedule and wants to level toons together. Would prefer to start new toons and play them whenever online together. I am available 12am - 4am latest east coast time. Also very open to finding a late night pve guild if there are any on this server. Please send me a message if interested! Mordrid
  4. Hey all, I am currently leveling toons, I have a few empire toons (50pyrotech, 42 marauder, and a 33 sorceror dps which is my favorite). I am looking for a guild that is online late night, I am usually online/available 11:30pm eastern. Raiding is something I would like to get into eventually as well. I prefer empire but republic is fine too since there probably are not many late night guilds available. Let me know whats out there!
  5. Hey all, I am currently leveling toons and would like to find a guild to join that plays late night (I am usually able to be online 11:30 eastern time). I would eventually like to raid. I prefer empire side, but I also like republic...just depends on what is available on this server. I have TONS of raid progression experience from WoW, and have played a few other mmos as well. I have many toons at various high levels, so just hit me up and tell me about your guild if it fits. EDIT: oops, I didn't quite make it to Shadowlands Guild Recruitment forum ><
  6. Apex, NC here. Anyone want to team up and level some toons?
  7. I know right?! A great chunk of that money went to story and voice actors though, which is a LOT of development that no other mmo even has (at least nowhere near to the degree TOR does). I certainly don't claim to know how these things are developed or how much money it takes, but I have yet to see a new mmo that has EVERYTHING in it at launch that the fans "must have" in order to keep subs.
  8. I blame the community. Too many selfish "I want it now" players in the MMO genre. MMOs take a LOT of money to create, and once created it still takes much time and even more money to become great. WoW was 10 times worse at launch, but got lucky and was given the chance to grow. And now since WoW is where it is, people just expect to have all the same features and more right at launch. Don't get me wrong, EA/Bioware has made some bad choices as well, but I definately feel the community is to blame even more.
  9. Are they re-doing the talent tree altogether or something? Cuz the current talent tree setup since Cata is so freakin terrible. And of the 5 mmo's I have played, Rift has the best thus far, certainly FAR better than WoW's current setup.
  10. I just have to laugh at this whole thread. I only say that because I have stated it a few times in the past that the tool HAS to be cross-server, otherwise its not much of a help. Sure we have full servers again if you took the xfer, but it still doesnt change the fact that subs are too low, therefore ques will can take forever unless your lucky. Think about it, if a dps toon in WoW takes anywhere from 12-40mins to get in a dungeon, imagine how insanely long it would take a dps toon in SWTOR even if it already had a cross server lfg tool. Sorry not trying to dis SWTOR, just pointing out what should have been obvious to all the people who didn't want cross server. On the brightside I am sure it will go cross server soon.
  11. My point exactly, if we already had the cross-server LFD the ques would STILL be long.
  12. Yes to "Dungeon Finders", need cross-realm tbh, population is so low that even if we already had this system, the que time would still be quite long. I realize I may get flammed at for saying so, but it is true.
  13. Thank you, and I did state that it can be shorter, but even so I think you get the point that even 10-20min que as a dps in WoW is good due to high population, while in SWTOR it would still take forever even with the cross server tool due to such low population. I am not griping or asking for the feature, just pointing out that it might be necessary for SWTOR to have it. Cheers.
  14. My post will probly go unnoticed here, but it still needs to be pointed out. First off, everyone in this thread does make pretty good points for and against the LFG tool. But imo these arguements work for large communities. I know we all hate using WoW for an example, but this is a true statement imo and those who play(ed) the game can relate. As a dps in WoW, the cross server LFG tool can take anywhere from 10minutes to an hour depending on the time of day you qued up for a dungeon at end game level 85. Take that and think about a very low community such as SWTOR which is spread out through many servers. Imagine if we already had the cross server LFG tool. With the low population we have, it would still take a dps player over an hour to finally get into a group...at prime time, maybe less but I think you all get the point. And then of course, you have to hope that the group is solid with no bad players that keep pulling or having no ninjas or aholes. I do understand some of the hate on the LFG tool, especially the cross server one. But it actually is needed, moreover I think there are much more people that want a cross server LFG than those who don't. I personally would like to see single server LFG tool as a start, but I know it probably won't be enough, and the ques could take forever more often than being short. Disagree if you want to, but look at the que times for WoW and compare it to what ours would be if we had the cross server tool already.
