  1. Signed for this when other windows are open, and during combat.
  2. No thank you to Force Lightning for Consulars.
  3. I came here with my guild of friends started in another game, and although we all have different schedules and playtimes, we would like to be able to team up for missions. The current system makes it very difficult to do so, as a teammate too high makes the content easy and unrewarding, and a teammate too low is useless. I would like a system where the rest of the group is automatically set to the same level as the group leader, so a higher level player can join a low level group (for no xp, but maybe additional credits) to help out, or a low level player can level up (xp would stay the same for their level). I think it would help out a lot of people like me who play solo most of the time due to the game's mechanics. Other games have systems like this so it doesn't seem like an outrageous expectation that this game would have more ways to encourage multiplayer experiences.
  4. I would also like an import/export preferences and hotkeys feature.
  5. What if we could choose 1 buff to be able to grant, independent of species?
  6. As I am nearing level 50 on my first character, I am surprised at the lack of interaction I've had with other players along the way. I came here with a pre-established guild and talk and team with them often, but outside of a few flashpoints, I have rarely interacted with anybody else on my server. One thing that might help increase player interaction in obvious social gathering points like rest areas would be a buff players can give each other that only works in those rest areas. I am thinking something along the lines of the species-based social ability, but a buff power granted at, say level 10, that, depending on your species, has different effects on players. Nothing game breaking, but significant enough to drive people into cantinas to see if they can find [x species] to hook them up with a buff, and possibly some social interaction on the side. One would not be able to cast this buff upon oneself. Here's what I was thinking (all buffs last 1 hour and do not stack): Humans grant bonus to Presence Zabraks grant bonus to Aim Twi'leks grant bonus to Cunning Sith Purebloods grant bonus to Willpower Miraluka grant bonus to Willpower Mirialans grant bonus to Strength Rattatki grant bonus to Strength Chiss grant bonus toCritical Chance Cyborgs grant bonus to Chance to Reverse Engineering I didn't realize until writing this that Imperials had access to one more species than the Republic. Perhaps with the legacy system unlocking new character creation options, the imbalance will be corrected. Thank you for reading.
  7. Seeing the junior varactyls on Belsavis makes me want one for my own! My suggestion is to add a mission on Belsavis, maybe granted from a soft hearted inmate who's taken with the creatures, to care for an injured Varactyl youngling and after completion, he tells you that it'd be safer with you than on the prison planet. Then it can be found hanging out in your spaceship with limited interaction options like "Name your pet," "Feed your pet" and "Play with your pet." Yes?
  8. If the General Discussion forum is your evidence, your case is weak. Compared to some other games I have played in the middle of their lifetimes, TOR is in good shape. If you can't manage patience and tempered expectations, perhaps you should come back later?
  9. It seems to me that posts requesting "stop the WoW comparisons" are WoW comparison posts. Stop posting the stop-the-posting-posts and you will solve half the problem, yes? (that second sentence was fun to write)
  10. Yes, although I switched to a 1-month subscription. I am not happy with crafting (artifice), orbital stations, or character customization, but what bothers me the most is the lack of communication on Bioware's end. Hopefully that will improve soon, which in turn would minimize most of my other concerns.
  11. A longtime guildmate from other games is having trouble with his computer but wants to play, and as I'm far from an expert with these things, I'm asking you if there's anything that can be done to upgrade what he has to run the game. Here's the info he gave me: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Clockspeed: 2171 MHz RAM: 1GB Video Card: Nvidea Gforce 4.
