  1. Yesterday i was disapponted in this way as well, did not get kotfe access, no mails, nothing, i tried alts, checked my ship, nothing. I decided to call the UK(i'm from Belgium) for support, after 45 minutes of listening to Star Wars-music (which thankfully is still amazing) i gave up and decided to log in to play whatever i had, level some of my alts or what not for a week. And BAM! i suddenly had about 6 mails with all rewards and KOTFE access! I noticed most people with issues were also using the 60-day cards so i think that's one of the issues which they may have already corrected by running a script. So good luck! Try relogging, strangely enough. Bwuce
  2. I prefer to use the gamecards, to control my expenses. I never had more than 24 hours without sub because i always ordered a card right away. Some people don't even have credit cards, especially in Europe. On the other hand, people complaining about the time of billing and the time they receive their paycheck, are always wrong in my opinion.
  3. Hi, I'm quite certain i was subbed during most of the time necessary for early access. Maybe a day in between for when i needed to buy another gamecard. I don't use my credit card to sub.. This should not be an issue though. I have asked around and many of the people who expected early access and were disappointed, use the 60-day cards. Is there an issue not granting these people sub-status early access?? I sent a ticket but i assume they'll be very busy. Bwuce
  4. I honestly wouldn't dare to betray Kaliyo, i would have to sleep with 1 eye open and watch my back the whole time... Very Bold move if you ask me.
  5. PVE merc:, you have more aoe so you kill much faster, you also start with Mako your healing companion so you can just focus on dps'ing in pve even if you are heal specced. I really enjoyed bountyhunter animations, they offered a lot of variation. (flamethrowers, wrist rockets, jetpacks etc) PVE Operative: as an operative your healing starts slow imo, i advise you to put 2 points into the grenade cooldown so you can spam it a little more, this should make it fairly fast to level but not as easy as the bountyhunter imo. The great thing about operative is stealth; you can go straight for your objective. This is especially nice if you do pvp/starfighter as well since you gain a lot of xp there and aren't dependant on your xp from pve. This makes your pve "faster" in a way but you gain less xp since you kill less. PVP merc: to me, less fun, since it's all fairly static combat, you are amazing if they let you freecast though and you have excellent dmg skills in -between healing if your energy allows you to do it (death from above etc). PVP Operative: many heals can be used while moving, you have versatility since you have stealth, vanish etc. i like the CC operatives offer too. You can make a stealth tank/healer combo with an assassin and many more other options, which I, personally enjoy, i like having options. Levelling is almost too easy at this moment in SWTOR imo, i just returned and did some pvp, some galactic starfighter, a black talon and i already started outlevelling my class quest
  6. Hi, I kind of like the idea of the cartell market certificates, problem is, the reputation with cartell market is legacy wide, but the cartell certificates are bound to the character you opened the boosters from. If possible, those certificates should get their status changed to "binds to legacy", so you can buy items for your alts with the certificates.
  7. operative/scoundrel, you have so much to do, heal, dps, cc, stealth... stealth gives access to certain abilities, cover gives access to certain abilities, tactical advantage gives access to certain abilities, your best dmg is in melee, you have no knockbacks, u don't have a decent melee attack chain until like 24+, maybe higher. You're really squishy too, your CC is all melee range, your backstab has a cooldown and deals about 65% of the dmg of an assassin's backstab. Marauders, if they can keep up, are amazing at killing people, the dmg is great, yes they are late bloomers, just like operative/scoundrel. easiest classes? commando/mercenary, snipers... the tanks are harder to play too but they have the survivability to help them, they can take more time making decisions. Sniper is funny, friend of mine was assassin, he felt OP, his pc is lousy though, hard to pvp, he tried sniper, at lvl 12 highest hit of the WZ, 4300 dmg, he said "ok, bye assassin, this is way easier on my pc, hardly have to move and already my biggest hits are huge". Sorcs are very powerful but at least they have to use a certain amount of skills to survive, the shield, some heals, cc etc, the heavy armored commandos are hard to kill as is with all the armor and an invulnerability bubble.
  8. you don't have abilities that do half the dmg? Assassinate and maul do more dmg than all of ours skills except for hidden strike, and those 2 skills can be used multiple times in combat on different enemies in multiple fights. your shocks deal dmg equal to our backstabs, your CC has 30m range, there's a lot more.... edit: our crits are mostly backstab which has 30% chance to crit, if it crits it deals about the same dmg as an non-crit maul.
  9. people need to see that it's a stealth OPENER, we can do this once in a fight "yeah sure vanish blah blah blah but that's impractical. Others got skills they can actually practically spam or can use while they're IN COMBAT, it takes a long time to get out of combat in pvp and that's a lot of time you're NOT doing anything, not healing, not dealing dmg, nothing. Others got spammable skills, think of snipe, headshot, force lightning(specced), tracer missile... you see people spam these a lot, and yeah i know u can interrupt etc.. but so can they! Our CC? yeah not bad, but it's all 4 to 10m, we got no KB (huttball fun) whatsoever. Squishy? yes we are squishy, assasins, whatever spec, run dark charge in pvp anyway, gives 150% armor and some absorption and lifesteal and what not. Operatives have to use all tools at their disposal to shine and even then it's hard... most classes have 1 thing to do, we have to use a stealth opener, watch tactical advantage, use cover (explosive probe), and more if we want to kill someone decent. sure we can win a lot 1v1 but that's it, we're too squishy to fight more people. I had some operative guildies that thought i was exaggerating, i said "try assassin, lvl 10 maul deals more dmg than lvl 50 backstab, which has a cooldown unlike maul", and yes, both of them now play assassin as main... Cooldowns on CC, PBAOE KB @ 20s cooldown? yes please? built-in root effect for many classes too. i'd be glad with ANY kind of kb, especially since 80% of WZ's are huttball. inquisitors can cc u and by the time your resolve is 0 they got more CC ready, operatives can't do that. Operatives have NO sprints, no pulls, no charge, no gap closers whatsoever. Operative's aoe sucks, operative's energy system is one of the hardest to use. Operative is one of the toughest classes to play to 36, which is supposed to be the wtfpwn lvl, with hidden strike, i must say i'm still not as impressed at 36 as i was playing sorc/assassin/mercenary under level 20. Yes, seriously, roll an operative or whatever class u complain about before you cry nerf. I asked my guildies to and said i was right, justified my whining and comparing
  10. Seriously, i played Sin in beta and because everyone went sin in live i thought i'd try the other stealth class.... Assassins have all their toys early, but look at the difference in CC: Assassin has - 20s cooldown PBAOE KB (overpowered, yes, 20s cooldown for CC? AOE???) -whirlwind, an 8s sleep (used to be 60s) with 30m range (yes, 30m) -electrocute, a stun like most classes have, ops too, but 30m range, operative = 4m (yes 4) -the sprint skill on 30s(?) cooldown, operative has no sprint -if specced: a force pull -Force lightning: good dmg AND snare in 1 spell, yes it's 10m range but with recklesness it's 30m range, nobody should ever get away. not CC but they also get Assassinate?? deals almost as much dmg as our hidden strike but on targets below 30%, ONLY 6s CD!!! u can use it more than once in a fight and isn't even hard to set up!!! you know what's funny? operatives get no gap closer, no KB/pull, no sprint active, all the CC they do have is 4 to 10m. the skills i just listed, aside from force pull, are gotten by inquisitors at lvl 14 alread (i think the sprint pop is 14) Operative's shortest CD on a CC skill is 45s, single target stun, 4m range, assassins got an aoe KB at 20s cooldown, also guess which WZ is played most that really makes KB shine even more?? Huttball. Assassins' abilities are all on relatively low CD, my operative now finally has Lacerate specced into, before that skill, we had gaps in our attack chains because almost all our melee attacks have cooldowns.... Assassin's backstab deals about 50% more dmg than operative's (compared with friends that play assassin at same lvl) Assassins have nothing to cry about, oh yeah and saying "i have to use dark charge to be a little tanky in pvp" is really to laugh about, you don't even have to SPEC any points to be tanky, u can be full whatever spec and still use that charge! Remember for hidden strike to knock down u have to spend a ton of points in a certain spec. Nothing to cry about as an assassin if u ask me, sure operatives are good at dealing dmg at 36+ but that's only when they're can open from stealth and believe or not, they have to work really really hard and use many skills to shine in pvp. Cover mechanic, heals, tactical advantage, stealth and more... an assassin can be in combat already and keep fighting and destroying multiple enemies, they got a lot more usable skills that don't require stealth, they got an attack chain at lvl 10 without any gaps etc.. Their CC is 30m range. Please, i wanted to play an assassin and i still do but i'm not going to because atm i'm running flashpoints with 3 assassins and me as operative that had to go healspec for flashpoints because nobody cares. Talk about easy classes though, have you seen the "spam"-classes? snipers barely have to use more than 3 abilities, sorcs can spec to use force lightning only and when u do get near they use the PBAOE KB, mercenaries spamming tracer missile and when u get near the PBAOE kb? There's a lot of difference in class difficulty. BTW, 2 operative guildies i know rerolled assassin, granted 1 of them was healspec, 1 of them made an assassin alt after i compared them to operatives and now that assassin is his main. Joy
  11. you got acid blade at 32, not fair. roughly how much "extra" dmg does acid blade give? i'm wondering if it's really worth it, i kinda think those kolto probes are cute.
  12. Operatives receiving or having something changed to a knockback of some sort, just to make huttball more fun, i think we're the only advanced class without any knockback/pull, inquisitors get one on a 20s cooldown, PBAOE too... Our stun or interrupt could use a range increase, really no fun to get a 4m stun where say, assassins get it for 30m (also whirlwind 30m). I do understand scoundrel's stun is a kick, which can't be made at range, though our daggers could be thrown. I know i know, i hear operatives are great after lvl 36 but i'm not there yet, also huttball is by far the most played WZ, i think 80% of my pvp games are huttball.
  13. I am concealment, or was at least, i had 2 points in healing just for the .5s faster casting time, which has saved me many times. lvl 28 now, life gets better when u get the interrupt btw, some classes, when u interrupt them, are clueless, merc spamming tracer dart, interrupt and he won't be doing anything for like 5seconds because he keeps spamming it. now i'm medic and i kind of fight the same, just am more survivable, thing i want to try is that improved sleep dart, 50% less dmg for 10s after breaking sleep dart seems like a 1v1 win... I know i can't have acid blade AND kolto probe so i'm not sure about my end spec yet, atm i just respec now and then to give things a chance. I can't really win a fight 1v1 without healing myself behind a corner now and then tbh, that's without stuns/blind up though. I hardly ever die in pvp, i do win a lot of 1v1 now but it takes a long time, usually people join in on the fight but i would've won it eventually. I really use everything at my disposal. My friend is a 28 assassin we always team up and we compare the dmg etc, at this lvl assassin outdmgs us by far, backstab being a lot higher too and they can focus on dps only because they are actually quite tanky (in pvp assassins "should" use dark charge anyway) Also i find the resources a lot harder to use on operative. atm in my opinion, bountyhunter is the easiest to play, most straightforard, then comes the inquisitor classes which seem more powerful with all the cc, sorcs gets to spam lightning too but it's not as spammy as tracert dar for example. they're all just pretty simple and straightforward. Operative by far the hardest, to master it you must use your cooldowns at the right time, keep an eye on your energy because once you go below 60% it regains really slow, keep an eye on tactical advantage, know how to use cover now and then (vs snipers u can win at range if you use kolto probes and cover even). I haven't used this many hotkeys on any other char. Though there lies the strength of the operative imo, we are the most versatile by far. going to test eviscerate soon, we'll see what gives. Another idea for slightly better range imo, is to upgrade our distraction (interrupt) to 30m, i think that would be doable too Again, we are somewhat low level, supposedly after lvl 36 people will cry about us. I only hope nothing above 36 gets nerfed before i get to use it because atm i sure think i have to work way harder than others to get results.
  14. I agree with OP and others in many ways, i'ved tried all subclasses except the warrior/guardians in beta and early start, now i'm an operative because the friends i was playing with that originally decided on playing other classes than assassin which i wanted, are now all sorcs/assassins after seeing/testing them in beta/early game start... I'm an operative because they were quite rare and late bloomers, also they are by far the most complex of all subclasses to play imo. i'm now lvl 28 and sure it's getting better but i still find myself very weak compared to the other subclasses. I also have to work a LOT harder and use ALL my tools at my disposal to kill people. Currently i respecced from using laceration (pretty good) to kolto probe and the rest in concealment, just for more survivability. melee attack chain: this wasn't complety for quite some levels, assassin has it early, sure it has less ranged attacks, though their stun is 30m range, ours 4m, that's a strange little disadvantage there. Assassins can go in tank stance "dark charge" still do more dmg than us (talking around lvl 26), their backstab has no cooldown and does about 30% more dmg than ours. I know we don't have our openers yet. I see many people here that are saying they feel very powerful, are Lethality spec, i have not tested that yet but having AOE dots does help in going top dmg of course. Maybe i should give it a try because our melee attacks have slow animations imo. one big tip is use cover (bind it in keybinds) and explosive probe, it's practically an instant and deals about as much dmg as our backstab, it's nice for getting a killing blow at range. i don't have eviscerate yet and i'm looking forward to it for having a better melee chain but it seems situational (incapacitated targets) AND i read on the forums that it doesn't work in pvp so there goes that idea. I'd also love to have a knockback or knockdown or pull of some kind, all other classes have some sort of placement CC, wether it's single target or pbaoe, it would simply make huttball a little more fun, facing dozens of inquisitors/consulars with 20s cooldown PBAOE Knockbacks is quite irritating Our stun could have increased range imo, 4m is a bit silly, though i understand for scoundrels it's a kick, so this might be hard to do. Shield probe, i was a bit disappointed, was hoping it was a shield somewhat like the sorc's, which is amazing imo.
  15. can't understand why they nerfed so much of the abilities, i come from playing an assassin and at least at lower lvls, the difference is HUGE, assassin was so much more impressive, dmg and CC-wise, backstab for assassins already deals over 50% more dmg than ours. for a squishy class with CC that is certainly not on par with that of an inquisitor class. Assassins' stun is 30m, whirlwind 30m.... i'm sticking witht he operative hoping it 'll get better but i'm rather sceptical about it. Also for healing purposes, bountyhunter and sorc were way easier to handle resources with and BH could tank more decently when he got agro or in pvp, sorc had shields and amazing CC. As i said, time will tell but the differences are huge, "nerfing" 1 skill can already be painful but if i read this list it's a damn huge impact.
